Q: Do you have to hold the button the whole time your vacuuming?

A: You must use your left thumb pressed firmly on the button for 60 seconds without lifting your pressured thumb. After that you must plug it in once , turn it off and the use right pointer finger to turn on the light feature only. If you need to vacuum I suggest buying a Dyson spend 5 times as much as use that
submitted bySally Mae Boliinger - 29 days agoA: Basically yes. There's a button to turn it on, but it's about as powerful as sucking up dirt with a drinking straw, so you have to hold the button for "extra power" down the whole time.

Q: I have had this vacuum for a few months & it will not suction properly anymore… will at times spit back out what it just vacuumed. Has anyone else had this issue or have any suggestions? I have cleaned out the filter, etc.

A: I have had several of these vacuums still do but the hair clogs them up quick! I use a wood skewer to pull the hair out from behind the roller brushes - it's a drag but when it's not clogged up it works great!

A: It's cheaper model thus doesn't have one... some vacuums fold n this one doesn't which makes things a bit difficult...

A: It is super lightweight. I love it for that reason and because it works so well. If you have lots or solids to pick up the booster lever helps a lot.

I love these Shark pet vacuums! I have cats so this is a must in my house. I love the convenience of just going and vacuuming without having to unravel the cord etc. it’s super lightweight and easy to push. The battery life lasts about 40 minutes which is the perfect time for me to sweep my house. It’s not too loud at all. I highly recommend!

I have had this vacuum for 5 months and 5 days and it will no longer turn on. I have spent hours going through their troubleshooting articles, cleaning out rolls and filters, only to determine the battery won't charge. Do not waste your money on this!

I have been wanting a cordless vac for quite some time but I couldn't decide which one to get. I needed one with at least a 30 minute run time and this one has 40, so even better. I have only used it a couple of times but so far I am very impressed. It is also lightweight so it is easy to use but I especially like the cordless aspect. Would highly recommend.

Because it is so heavy it constantly falls. Also it fits spit out dirt so I constantly have to go over the same spot. I had a bissell the turquoise one and it was amazing until it just stopped 6 months in. But honestly I would rather just keep replacing that instead of buy this one

I had a corded shark pet vacuum and it was great, however this is not the same quality. Poor ergonomic design, so you lift it off the floor; terrible suction; have to keep your finger pulled on trigger for max suction. Immediately knew this would not work for me. Return.

Worked ok for a while. Would need to be cleaned out EVERY use, and after a year, the brush roll stopped spinning. So clearly a very low build quality product.
