Q: Is the backlight able to stay on? Whenever I release the backlight button it turns off- it’s unable to stay on by its self. Thank you.

A: No. This clock is an on-demand backlight only. The backlight is only one when you press the button.

Picture does not match reality. The hands - all three of them - need to be darker to provide contrast with the white face so that the time and the seconds could be more easily read.

Good design and good price. Low contrast face so it’s hard to see unless you’re right next to it. Alarm isn’t simple to set and you have to set it within 12 hrs and remember to do it every night.
