Magnets falling out
I’ve had my grip 5 for a few weeks & 3 magnets have fallen out of the back. Also a piece of the plastic snapped off of it I broke where one of the little bungee things are connected under the metal circle. I was looking for a grip that can magnet to my car mount which this does beautifully, but if it wasn’t for that feature I’d still be using popsockets! Not impressed! Bummer! I wanted to love it

V5 is terrible
I've owned every Snap Grip version since the original Kickstarter campaign and this is probably the second-worst iteration. It doesn't stay firmly mounted on grips, and falls off the phone far too easily. Bring back the adhesive and stronger rear-facing magnets, or at least make that an option in a second version. It's also still not compatible with most third-party wireless chargers, and doesn't work reliably with the official Ohsnap wireless charger with a case on.

So far so good
I requested & received Oh Snap for a Christmas gift. So far so good. It works as advertised & I've enjoyed using it. I also like that it's magnetic & will stick to a metal item if needed.

So far, so good
Very thin. Doesn't get caught on pocket like a pop-socket. One-finger mode is nice for pics. Kickstand nice for watching videos. Only issue thus far is that one of my wireless chargers doesn't charge my phone anymore, due I assume to added thickness of Snap Grip (specifically Yootech Wireless Charger Stand). Most wireless charges continue to work, in particular mag chargers.

No adhesive = reduced hold
I upgraded from the 4 to the 5 a few months back. After several close calls, today I finally lost it somewhere on my commute. The finish on the 5 is nice but not nice enough when it results in the grip coming unstuck regularly. Think I’ll stick with the adhesive from here on out.

New phone - new grip, new drip!
Grabbed the new Snap Grip in the silver white combo for my new iPhone 17 Pro. It looks great—like it was made for it! I’m also digging the new design that doesn’t use adhesive.

Weaker magnets
I bought 2 Snap 5’s recently. I love the fact that its adhesive free, but I was dissatisfied with the strength of the magnets on the 5 compared to the 4. It snaps ahold of any MagSafe phone or case perfectly fine. But when using the mount on the refrigerator, gym equipment, or even the steel racking at my job, my phone easily slides down and just does not have much magnetic strength. This was not an issue with the Snap 4. When I mounted my phone to any metal it stayed put until I removed it.

By far the best phone holder on the market
I've tried every case with a built-in holder, separate magnetic "ring" holders, etc. and they all are thick or cut into your hand/finger. This is my 3rd Oh Snap and it's perfect! I should never have tried the others. It's the thinnest and most comfortable. Plus, the new magnetic design is nice.

The best grip ever
I love my snap grip 5! So much! It makes holding my phone more fun! The versatility it has is unmatched by any other grip on the market! It turns my phone into a fidget toy which is amazing! I can use it with one finger or two, which if you haven’t experienced you need to! It’s game changing! I will definitely buy another one for my other phone! The only thing I wish is that they bring the all white grip back! That’s the one I want! But other than that! Literally the only grip I will ever use on a phone again! Did I mention wireless charging through the grip? Yes it does that too! I pop my phone on the fridge as I make breakfast! This thing can’t be beat! Buy your asap!

I was hoping for stronger magnets.
I enjoy the product very much but I was expecting a stronger magnet due to all the marketing videos I had seen. In my experience if I was ever to drop my phone the ohsnap grip 5 would go flying off the back of my phone and then I’d have to search for it. In all other aspects product was very functional and useful.

Magnet is not strong enough
I like the idea but magnets are not strong enough. I like to stick my phone to the gym equipment while I am working out but with this ohsnap one it slides down the equipment and doesn’t stay. That was the only reason I bought it. I would not buy again unless they can improve the magnetic strength. My fingers are also bigger and don’t easily fit behind the circle piece.

It’s okay.
I was underwhelmed to when I received your product. The kickstand, which I was looking for to use does not work at all.

WIll not stay on phone and will not charge
I am really disappointed in the new Snap Grip 5. I LOVED my Snap Grip 4 and was really looking forward to this upgrade. However, the magnets are so weak that it won't stay on my phone, and it won't charge through the grip, even though I have the Snap Grip charger. I'm really disappointed and wish I could still purchase the old version.

Weak Magnet and Not Worth the Upgrade
I’ve owned several older versions of this product, and after using the Snap Grip 5 for about a week, I’m honestly disappointed—mainly with the magnet strength. While the magnet connects very well to my iPhone, it performs poorly when attaching to gym equipment or MagSafe chargers. I use an Apple-brand MagSafe charger in my car, and my phone constantly falls off. Since I rely on my phone for navigation, this is extremely frustrating and not what I’d expect from a product at this price point. At the gym, when I attach it to a rack, my phone slowly slides down instead of staying firmly in place. With the Snap Grip 4, once it stuck to something, it stayed put.I upgraded to the Snap Grip 5 because the adhesive on my Snap Grip 4 was starting to catch when rotating the phone. Unfortunately, the MagSafe connection on the 5 only works intermittently. Most of the time, I have to remove the grip just to charge my phone. Because of this, I often forget to put it back on in the morning, which is another annoyance. That said, there are a few things I do like about the Snap Grip 5. The grip is removable, which I have to do to use my phone in the car. It’s very thin, and the color matches my phone nicely.Overall, if you already have the Snap Grip 4, I don’t think the Snap Grip 5 is worth upgrading to. If you’re looking for a grip that reliably magnetizes to gym equipment or securely connects to a car charger, this isn’t worth the money. However, if your main priority is a thin, removable grip that matches your phone’s color, this might work for you.
