Sony ULT FIELD 5 Bluetooth Wireless Speaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is great! It’s bigger than I expected when I read the description, but that’s a good thing. The handle is super useful and makes it easy to port around the house. I have a Sonos Move and this is much easier to move around - it’s also WAY easier to connect to, the settings are fewer and simpler, and the controls are much more intuitive. It worked very well for a recent game night where we moved between rooms. My friend who considers himself a speaker aficionado declared that this is not a speaker, it’s a toy - but that doesn’t deter my feelings at all. We all agreed it would do great at a small outdoor party (bigger with the cool Party Connect feature!), at the beach, or for any in-home uses where you’re not prioritizing bass. Without EQ settings, it did sound a little tinny, but adjusting those brought out beautiful sound among a wide variety of music. The lights are fun but I opted to turn them off in favor of longer battery life. I’m so happy to have this in my life now, thanks to Sony and Influenster!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sony Ult Field 5 Wierless speaker has great sound if your looking for loud and alot of bass. Also great for outdoors space. The sound connect app was easy to set up and use. The light system can be controlled as well as the bass in this app. The strap is a great added feature allowing easy portability. The speaker is a little heavier than I would like, but it is an amazing speaker. My speaker was delivered by FedEx which did not feel the need to deliver it to our door and just left it in the middle of the yard. We were gone out of town for 5 days and it rained every day. By the time we received the speaker the box was soaked and falling apart. To our Surprise this Sony speaker really is water proof. ABSOLUTELY LOVE the sound this speaker has along with the lights.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very solid speaker and sound. It was slightly touchy in the set up and connection with the app but once connected it works easily. In the app you can change the colors of the lights, adjust sound quality, and you can even mix a little like a DJ. The speaker sound quality is excellent and can be very loud if needed. It comes with a strap for carrying which is nice because it is in the heavier side. I want to note that I ordered a black speaker but inside the box with a black speaker on the outside, I received a white speaker.

The sound is great, it can get very loud but with good quality. It is heavier than other speakers I’ve had but easy to move around and comes with a carrying strap to attach to it if you want. It also lights up in different colors if you want. It was easy to connect to my phones Bluetooth to play music, and the battery seems to last a long time. I’ve had other speakers in the past that were good but not great and didn’t last long or hold a good charge. This one is pricer than others I’ve gotten but I can clearly see why, it’s a high quality speaker. Definitely recommend if you want a solid speaker with great sound to connect to your phone or even tv if you are watching movies. Love it.

To convert between straps and strapless is easy and I like how the strap connectors fold in so they get hidden when not in use. It weighs about 7 lbs I received this free in exchange for my opinion.

The sound clarity is one of the best on the market and the battery life after charging can be up to 25 hours !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got the speaker today and I couldn’t wait to try it! Setup is so easy: you scan a bar code on the box and follow the steps. It connected to my phone right away and Spotify recognised the device right away. Sound is pretty decent for this type of device. I played a few different styles and there’s definable clarity and good bass. Size is a bit bigger than expected. In my mind I thought of something as big as my Beats pill but this is definitely bigger and packs more power than Beats for sure. Lights are so much run!! It’ comes with a strap so secure taking it places. It’s a big heavy for walking around with it, but I guess priorities:) overall super pleasantly surprised and at the same time not because Sony is quality.

The ergonomics are real easy, buttons are super simple not complex and you dont need manual every time you touch it. Battery is solid lasted whole day without charging. Bluetooth connected instantly and stayed without random cut offs. Lastly the material is sturdy but not heavy perfect to roam around with.

The light changing colors at the rhythm of the music is an amazing touch that makes ir perfect for a party. Tried it with rock, reggaeton, salsa, dembow and bachata and the ULT bass is another level. Without it you can hear an amazing song but with it, you feel like you’re inside of the song. This speaker is concert level. The size with the straps are for super easy for travel. Lasted the whole beach day and had more than 75% left.

This was purchased as a stand-alone music system to carry in my Landrover and connect to an iphone. Battery life is excellent and well within the stated time, sound quality is first class but needs to be in the open air for maximum effect - it does sound good from inside but tends to be a bit "boomy". The party lights personally are an unneccessary feature but I'm sure many will love them !!! Overall a good quality item.

This speaker grabs the attention of anyone within earshot. The booming bass is exactly what people are looking for. The build is quality as you would expect from Sony. Been using it outside for a couple of weeks this winter, and it handles the mud and rain well. Perfect addition to anyone-working-on-site's toolbox.

I bought two of these to enhance the room sound by partying them with my two tower speakers. The sound is just amazing. Such a wise move. They can also be used in the garden separately from my tower speakers.
