I bought two of these gates for my dogs before I even had kids. It was easy to install and has kept both my kids and dogs safe when I need to block off different rooms. Very happy with my purchase.

I’ve had this gate for about a year. My daughter is 2.5 years old. Although she is not tall enough to see the top, she knows that just by simple lifting the gate, it will swing open. While the adults were accustomed to use the secondary sliding lock, it never helped to secure the gate. Very disappointed.

We bought this assuming it would fit in an opening that is 30.75 inches. Unfortunately it is too large of a space for the gate with no extenders and too small of a space for one extender. Upon looking closely at the instructions, we realized there is certain measurements that would deem the gate useless. Very frustrating.

Opening this soor is not easy at all. Youre supposed to slide the lock tab back, lift the door and swing. But lifting the door only pulls the holding pin out and the door with it. Not ideal when im trying to get my toddler down the stairs and i have to put the gate door back together. Not a bad gate but the whole lift and swing concept is awful.
