Fine until IR reader in TV stops, looks to be a consistent issue

Worked great until IR on TV completely stops working. It does not pick up the remote. Tried every recommendation from support; new remotes, reset numerous times. Finally threw it out! They need to fix the IR reader in the TV. It stops picking up all readings from anything and it is worthless.

Get what you pay for as they say

I purchased because it was on sale with decent reviews. Remote stopped working within three months. Indicator light is non responsive. Paid for a replacement remote still does work. Contacted support they told me that I am responsible for the replacement remote. Currently waiting for a remote from them. The tv has been randomly going into what seems to be a recovery screen something to do with android and telling me to try again but I am unable to make a selection because the remote doesn’t work. Hopefully the next remote works, if not hopefully they will replace the tv through warranty. I am very disappointed. The picture is really good and it came with some great features but at this point it’s just another headache. DON‘T WASTE YOUR MONEY
