The light cool shade is suuuuper yellow. It goes on really thick and doesn’t buff/blend. I’m surprised this has so many positive reviews. I was really disappointed.

I love love love this foundation. Extremely versatile! You can conceal, contour, and highlight with this product. Amazing coverage. I am an oily brown girl and this baby don’t move. I bought this after I was influenced from TikTok. For the price it’s a great purchase.

This is my third concealer stick and it’s the only concealer that feels good on my dry skin. I only use it for under eyes and dark cheeks. I get compliments on how clear my skin has gotten but I owe it to this product covering my blackheads and discoloration. Pictured is me outdoor biking with just this product on and after a workout. It looks so natural, I love it.

I have struggled for two and a half decades to find a foundation that actually matches my skin tone without making me look super orange, pasty or too dark. I’m a biracial woman that has gently glided into her forties 😉 and I have very little experience with applying makeup. I happened upon the Thread Complexion Stick (shade 50) by complete accident but it is a Bob Ross-level happy accident! It’s silky, glides onto skin, stays put, blends wonderfully and feels so light—it’s like I’m wearing “nothing at all, nothing at all, NOTHING AT ALL!”—Ned Flanders. This stick actually makes me want to wear makeup and has helped give me a bit more confidence and motivation in trying. I’m surprised by the reviews saying that the stick was “too orange” or not fair enough… I would think one would be able to tell from looking at the actual color of the makeup whether or not it may be too orangey or dark for their skin; but I’m a novice when it comes to makeup and have struggled with matching for a very, very, long time… then again, having struggled with finding the right tone/shade for so long I’ve learned to look for certain things before buying a foundation. 🤷🏽♀️ One of the pictures on a review blew my mind… the young lady bought a color that was so clearly wrong for her fair skin and then blamed the foundation? 🤯 Weird. Nevertheless, amazing find for such a great price point. Will definitely purchase again and again and try their other products!!! P.S. Love that it’s black owned! 🤎✊🏽

Grabbed this on a whim and was so pleasantly surprised by how it performed for a price tag of only $8! Great shade range (go on Thread’s website for more detailed description of each shade) and matches my fair light complexion perfectly. Make sure your skin is prepped and moisturized well before applying and warm the product between your fingers as you apply - when I did those two things, it went in seamlessly and I buffed out with a brush!

This product just melted on. I picked one I figured was close to my deep brown skin tone, and it was a perfect match (160). It does require a little blending of any residue you may notice as you’re swiping it on. But for the price point, I’m amazed. I just wanted a little something to throw on when I need to step out and look put together, but I don’t want a full face of makeup. This is perfect!

I don’t use this for nights out bc it’s not full coverage , but for my natural day to day look, this is my go too! Im a light / medium Latina, & shade 20 is good. 30 would probably be better but my store doesn’t carry it .

Really like the idea of a stick foundation for travel and discovered this today at Target. I'm Asian, neutral-cool toned, tan really easily with a light tan-medium complexion. 40 was right on the nose! 50 dried down slightly too warm. I used a took some product off the top with a dense brush, and it swiped over my skin very easily. Super creamy and fuller coverage than I am used to. I usually only use tinted serum or cc cream. The pics show me w product on UNPREPPED skin bc i had just washed my face witj no moisturizer applied. so it does show texture. BUT I think it will be smoother if I prepped my skin. And staying power will ilprove with some powder, which I also did not use in the pics. Someone mentioned it had a scent, but I dont really smell anything. According to EWG (where you can look up the cleanliness of makeup), this product rates pretty clean. See pic with 2 of the shades.I assume colors between those colors rate similarly. Have had it on my face for a 1/2 hour so far. No reaction. Very happy with this purchase and will buy a back up!

It blends in so good! It matches my skin tone to perfection. I also love that it isn't heavy. I feel like I'm not wearing makeup.
