Q: Is there enough fabric softener in this detergent to not add additional fabric softener to the washer machine?

A: That's a great question. While you'll get some of the benefit of a fabric softener, it is not exactly the same. You'll need to still add fabric softener to get the full benefits.

A: Yes it does, but it doesn't contain all the properties of fabric softener. It is safe to use on all fabrics when used as directed.

Q: Target, why is this listed as "Target Clean" when it doesn't match your description of "Target Clean?" That defeats the entire purpose of filtering products if the feature doesn't even work!

I love the scent, but for some reason this detergent cannot get out stains. The old formula seemed to get out everything, but now it already makes the stain worse. I don't know what happened but does not work as well as it used to!

We're so sorry to hear your clothes were left stained, and would like to help. This can happen if the liquid detergent has been in direct contact with the fabric for a long time or has not been mixed very well. Our liquid detergents do not have dyes that cause permanent stains and can be removed. To remove the stain, dampen the stain with warm to hot water (according to the washing instructions on the label) and rub it in. Rinse and repeat if necessary, then wash normally.
