Doesn’t dissolve!
I’ve used the Tide pods for over a year now and I have not found they’re worth the price at all. I always placed the pod in the drum before I added our clothes

So disappointed
I have been using Tide all my adult life. My family has always loved the smell of our clothes. The last few years the smell has changed. We are all changing our detergent. The smell is offensive. I have tried pods and other tide sense and they are all bad. Missing my tide. Susan Gardner

Love Tide, but new scent is nauseating
I usually use the Original Scent Tide, which i love. On a whim, I got the Spring Meadow scent and was immediately blown away by the stench of what I describe smells like rancid raw oysters with undertones of sweet chemical gag. It's not my machine, as the stench came directly from the container. I've never felt literal nausea from the scent of detergent, but...yikes.

I went on this website to see if other he try e same experience with the smell . I usually buy original liquid tide or powder and have never come across this and have always been satisfied. I see I am not the only one and would not re-purchase this particular product

I DO NOT like the altered Spring Meadows scent!
You took a good thing and ruined it! I used to love how my clothes smelled after washing them! Now they smell like they need to be washed again right after coming out of the washer. Please take a page from Coke and give us back our original formula. I won't be buying these again unless that happens. I will have to find an alternative that smells better.

P.U. Whyyy????
I have forever loved this scent. I used it on vacation and it has forever reminded me of taking that trip. I stopped using it for awhile but longed for that scent. I went back to it and its absolutely horrible, sour fishy stink. I thought maybe it was a bad batch but after reading these reviews Im so disappointed with tides choice to modify this scent. horrible smell
This isn't just an unpleasant smell, it reeks of chemicals. Almost a fishy smell. Absolutely awful. And after just one wash, the smell is everywhere in the house. You need to recall this - there is no way this is not a defective product. I'm hoping I can get the smell out of my clothes because there is no way I can wear something that smells like this.

Don’t buy!
If I could give zero stars I would! Why change the formula when nothing was wrong. I was always told ‘If it’s not broken don’t fix it’. Will be throwing the entire container of the Spring Meadow pods away after only using one. The new formula smells horrible! So disappointed I have to find a new laundry soap. Please change the formula back.

New scent is terrible
I have purchased these pods for years but I had to find another brand after the scent was changed. After seeing all of the reviews you know it is not user error. Please bring back the original scent. I don’t understand how losing all of these customers is really worth keeping the new gross scent

Smell
This was the worst thing I have ever bought bc the smell is so bad. I will never buy this again or even shop from this brand. It ruined all my clothes and the smell doesn’t go away, and I’ve smelled it in my room for weeks even after rewashing my laundry load twice. DONT buy it, the other reviews are right and I wish I read those before I made the worst investment ever.

The strength of the scent desired on the clothes is a personal preference and we're sorry to hear you feel this way. Dosage could be the cause of too much scent remaining after the wash and you may want to use only one PODS™ for your wash. If the you're using a fabric softener this can also affect the scent left on the clothes after the wash. To remove the scent rewash with the items hottest water safe for the fabric, using the recommended amount of detergent and fabric softener. My clothes smell like fish
I’ve had to wash my clothes several times with different detergent because I could not get the smell of fish out of them. The smell of fish is so powerful and strong on my clothes when they are all dried. I will be switching my laundry detergent and will not recommend these pods to anyone. Bad move for switching the scent.

Fish smell!
I could not figure out why my clean loads of laundry smelled like fish and after switching multiple products like my dryer sheets, I discovered it was the Spring Meadow pods! Even the bag and container smell! It’s awful. We’ve used Tide for years but I’ll be switching brands immediately. This needs to be fixed since it appears I’m not alone.

Bad scent
You need to change the scent back to how it was, or at least make another version of this new scent, but don't call it spring meadow. This new scent does smell awful. I have to use two dryer sheets just so that it won't smell that bad from the new spring meadow scent. I have loved the original spring meadow scent for years, but I'm very disappointed now. I'm sorry to say this but who ever led your research to change the smell, dropped the ball on this one.

Formulation change makes the pods smell horrendous
Tide, please go back to the old formula or fix the putrid smell. It definitely isn’t just this scent. It’s every single tide pod - original, cold water spring meadow, the febreeze ones, the sports ones, the ones with downy, the light scent ones - they all had the same putrid smell when I checked them at the store It has to be whatever they added to the new formulation for all the tide pods or something. I smelled every single one. Until they change the formulation back or reformulate again, DO NOT BUY THE PODS. If you like tide, maybe sticking to liquid or powder is best but idk if those are even safe moving forward if they change those formulas with whatever they did to the pods. Maybe it’s best to transition early to a competitor….

Horrendous scent
Why in the world would Tide decide to change the scent so drastically is beyond me. Absolutely no one was complaining about the old scent. Horrible.

I always have been tide costumer and this product is fantastic the exact amount of soap, so convenient and fair price
