Our familys go-to toothpaste it has the long lasting flavor we love with a fresh aftertaste and for the price it doesnt get anybetter

I was expecting the same taste and quality as the Liuminous white. But this one is not. It leaves your mouth with a bitter taste. Bring back the Lumnous white and don't change it. Will not purchse this one again.

Not sure if the toothpaste significantly whitens teeth, but I purchased this originally because I need a toothpaste that doesn’t contain SLS, as that is a known ingredient that 1) can cause gums to break down/slough off and 2) cause acne on the lips and around the mouth. While I greatly prefer the flavor and consistency of this brand over the “Made By Dentists,” one, this toothpaste has caused me to breakout around the mouth again. So unfortunately, even though this toothpaste comes back as “clean” in the Acne-Safe app, I’ll need to go back to the much more $$$ “Made By Dentists” one.

I like that it didn't have an overwhelming peppermint flavor like other brands I've tried before. I love how clean and fresh my mouth and teeth felt after using it. I could actually see a difference after one use.

I tried the peppermint toothpaste on several occasions. Every time it feels like it is burning my lips. It does not bother the inside of the mouth just the lips. After using it I have to put on lip balm.....I am leery of using the other whitening toothpaste.

I am not going to be able to use this the taste is so bitter and awful. Would love to try again but it was nauseating to use

I tried this toothpaste and after 1 use wow am i impressed. My teeth are visibly whiter and after eating still feels like i just brushed them! I have never liked a product so much.

I would definitely recommend giving it a try. I opted for the mint flavor, which felt quite strong initially, but I adjusted to it quickly. Overall, I'm satisfied and plan to purchase it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As always, Tom has a nice packaging and great ingredients. This toothpaste in particular is not my favorite Tom's product. It has a gross taste, and it doesn't leave my mouth feeling refreshed like other toothpaste products tend to do. It reminds me of baking soda with a slight hint of peppermint. Most toothpastes have some sort of sweet taste to it, but this does not. It has whitening properties, but in the short time I have used it, I didn't notice a difference. Due to the taste and not feeling refreshed, I would not recommend this toothpaste.

It is mildly abrasive and leaves my mouth feeling super clean and fresh. Makes my breath minty fresh too. I like Tom's of Maine products because there aren't harsh chemicals in their ingredients. My only critique is that I'm not so sure about it's whitening power but I would still buy this toothpaste again because it's such a high quality product.

But Tom’s whitening + deep clean surprised me, it has a smooth, refreshing flavor without being too strong, and I actually noticed a difference in how bright my teeth look. Tom’s of Maine has always been a brand I trust, and this one definitely lives up to their reputation.

It’s not too strong, so if you like that more subtle mint taste that doesn’t burn your tongue, this is for you. I like that the toothpaste is clear and not artificially colored. Very natural. I have been using it for a few weeks, twice a day (at least) and I have not noticed much of a whitening effect. My teeth are pretty white so maybe that is why but I was hoping for some additional whitening. I also like that it contains fluoride. Overall, I would recommend this Tom’s toothpaste and would purchase again! This product was provided by home tester club and Tom’s in exchange for my honest opinion.
