Very nice size and convenient to use This is a very nice size to put over the shoulders. I like the outer material as it is very soft and kind of furry. The ability to keep warmth is good, it is not comparable to electric ones, but this has weight to it so it is added comfort to the shoulders if you need the weight. I really like this and would recommend.

Very handy! I am a fan of the microwavable heating pads. Moist heat somehow very soothing and the weight is an additional plus. The pad came nicely packed and it was vacuumed sealed. It has a lovely color and material is soft. The large size is perfect for me and I have been using it on different areas of the body.

comfortable weight I own a few of the electric plug in and USB style heating pads and those are wonderful because you don't have to worry about microwaving again and again to keep the heat coming, however, they don't offer the weight and damp heat like this little pad does. I'm glad I ordered this because I love having the variation. This definitely gives off a damp heat that lingers and also has an herbal aroma emitting after if comes from the microwave. I think it is pleasant. I'd say the heat is comfortable for about 10 minutes at a time. Sometimes I lay this weighted pad on top of my plug in heating pad because I love the weight of it. It's super soft and generously stuffed--no empty spots on this pad. I recommend.

Cover isn't removable... For a long time, I have been using a microwave heating pad that was similar to this one, but it was getting worn out from being used a lot. This new pad is an excellent substitute. It is 17 inches by 8 inches in size, which fits my lower back pain very well. It has good stitching, and the fabric is soft and velvety. I sometimes bring it to bed with me to warm up my feet. The lavender smell is subtle and pleasant. The only thing I wish it had is a removable cover for washing purposes.

Love the fabric and the size Finally, an attractive heating pad! And I like the smaller size, perfect for smaller areas as well as for travelling. The salt in these does not seem to hold the heat as long as the buckwheat hulls in another heating pad of mine does, I got about 10 minutes of heat as opposed to 20-30 minutes that I am used to. While Id rather have 20-30 minutes of heat, the shorter heat time & smaller size would be just what I would want for a child. This has its place in my arsenal of pain relief, its just not going to be my first choice.

Amazing microwave heating pad! This heating pad is amazing! So incredibly easy to warm up in the microwave, takes seconds to heat up and stays warm for approximately 20-30 minutes!
