Q: Is this humidifier really loud? I am looking for one for my newborn baby. Also is the night light too bright?

  • A: The humidifier is just silent for 3 monthsand makes a heavy noise and spits. It will start spitting hot water in front of the humidifier and the whole tank is extremely hot not safe around kids.

However, you can place this on the opposite side of the room from your newborn and that will reduce the light near them as they sleep if you find it is too bright. No longer works

Do not buy this

Purchased because of the price but please don’t waste your money. This was very difficult to set up, I had to add salt (as the instructions indicated) for it to work and the steam is obviously very hot but after working fine for about 5 minutes it suddenly started squirting water everywhere and burned my toddler and husband. Be very careful if you do buy this!

Dont buy

Steam comes out great but the insert leaks black water when you take it out! After the 3rd time I used it (rinsing and refilling each time) I opened it and it was filled with either mold or dust particles in the leftover water! Disgusting.

Got Allergies, try it - you'll breathe better

Worked right out of the box. I I added the vapo steam camphor cough suppressant for use in hot steam vaporizer instead of the pads enclosed. This humidifier can soothe coughs and congestion with its warm steam, and it features a protective design and auto shut-off for safety. With the use of this, especially having a dry annoying painful cough, delivers effective moisture relief for small to medium rooms with gentle warm mist. I had it on my kitchen table while working for home - was good for my cough/congestion relief - good relief for flu season too.

MOLD after second day

Spewed water and had mold by the end of day two. On the second day we ran this in my son's room, he complained of a bad taste in his mouth. I thought it was because he was sick. But that night, we watched a movie together and I got the same bad taste. Checked the humidifier, and it was already moldy. Guess I'll try a cold air humidifier.

The Base part of it gets to Hot

Don’t like that it got extremely Hot. The base part of it is so Hot,so that’s concerning for me. My previous one I got at another place I would leave it on for hours and hours but,I don’t feel safe doing that to this one.
