Tried to set up multiple times and it gave me an error code everytime, I have 2.4 ghz wifi so I cheched with my internet provider just in case and they helped me troubleshoot but it seems the problem it's with the camera not the WiFi.

I would never recommend this baby monitor. The sound doesn’t stay on your phone when it’s locked unless you minimize the video but then my phone overheats. When I turn my screen back on the video force closes and I lose my connection. The camera goes offline constantly which is incredibly annoying, especially since I want to closely monitor my newborn. When turning on the light or sounds it takes at least a minute which feels like forever when it’s dark and you need some light! After just 4 months of having this camera it just straight up won’t go online anymore. It doesn’t work and we have tried everything. Absolute waste of money

This has been an awful experience with this camera and app. It goes "offline" constantly and never actually works when I need it to. There is nothing wrong with my internet, it is extremely close to my router, I work from home, can stream things constantly on so many devices with no problems, it's not an internet problem at all. This camera just doesn't work at all at random times, I can't even go on a 20 minute run on my treadmill with the camera set up in my babies room for my babies because it will of course go offline when my kids are taking a nap or I actually need it for anything at all ever. It's random, it's the most unreliable, awful thing ever. It's great when it works it just hardly ever does and it's causing me a lot of stress even though I purchased this to reduce stress.

Makes watching our little one at night easy, but disappointed in the audio quality! When we speak to him, the audio coming out of the camera unit is really quiet and muffled! He can’t hear what we’re saying - really disappointing :(

Excellent camera! Setup was very straightforward and the app was very functional. However, there is no way to keep the app sound on with your phone screen locked. This becomes a problem overnight when your smartphone screen needs to be on all night and ends up overheating (literally becomes hot to the touch) in order to hear audio. As soon as you lock your smartphone screen or leave the app, the sound shuts off. The VTech cameras that come with a parent monitor are able to pair with a different app (VTech Baby Pro instead of Plus) and that version allows you to lock your phone screen and continue to receive audio from the baby’s room. We exchanged our device for one of those and are happy with our decision!

The video quality is great. I purchased an adjustable arm mount because I can’t mount it to the wall. But it works great! I do have to hold the on button in to turn it on when it’s not on charge but it works great and has good audio and visuals.
