Q: Can you use it in the shower?

submitted by Joyce - 8 years ago
  • A: Yes. It's cordless when it's not charging.

submitted byJesNvancouver - 8 years ago
  • A: Yes, it is a great place to use it.

submitted byhappySharon - 8 years ago
  • A: Maybe because you used it in the shower that is why it stop working.

submitted byAnn - 4 years ago
  • A: It can be used in the shower, as said, but the battery will not last long and it is not replaceable. So, throw the unit away and get a new one which is what I did if the battery is dead or does not charge..

submitted byanian - 8 years ago
  • A: From the Soecifications: May be Used in the Shower : No

submitted byRandall - 1 year ago

Q: i will be travelling outside united states to countries with different power voltage. do i need to buy a travel charger to make it work over there or this portable cordless waterpik flosser works with both 110 and 220 voltage.

submitted by bela - 9 years ago
  • A: The box states clearly that a cord to connect the WaterPik tp the charger unit is included inside the box, but the charger unit that gets plugged into the wall is NOT INCLUDED.

submitted byJohn in MA - 2 years ago
  • A: The cord that came with the water flosser is all you need.

submitted bycaringsmile - 9 years ago
  • A: Yes, you need an adapter or converter if you plan on staying abroad too long.

submitted byanian - 8 years ago
  • A: It's a rechargeable type battery. If you are going for about a week, a full charge before you leave will hold you over. If you are staying longer than a week, you will need an adapter to be able to charge.

Q: I rinse with melaleuca sometimes to combat tooth & gum pain. Can I add a few drops to the water in this machine?

submitted by AngieCF - 8 years ago
  • A: In case you haven't received an acceptable answer yet, the description of this item states, "Please do not use ... tea tree oil (which is Melaleuca, though a lesser quality)...in the reservoir. Use of these additives will reduce the product performance and shorten the life of the product.

submitted byDee - 8 years ago
  • A: May be.. I am not sure. I add one table spoon of mouth wash in to the tank and it has not so far (6 months) caused any damage to the flosser. But when a dentist advised me to add some bleach, the system failed. So, it all depends on what chemicals melaleuca contains. You need to contact the manufacturer of Melaleuca and get advice.

submitted byanian - 8 years ago
  • A: You need to ask the manufacturer of Melaleuca to if it will hurt the Flosser. I add 2 tbs of mouth wash to a full tank and it works well.

submitted byanian - 8 years ago

Q: Is this water pik safe to use in the shower?!

submitted by sskrebs - 8 years ago
  • A: Although I have owned one of these for the last 10 years, I have no personal experience with using this is the shower. However, my DH is an electrical engineer and I asked him. He says that as long as you don't open the battery compartment while the water is running in the shower, this should work fine.

submitted byAnn - 8 years ago

Q: Isn't this the WP-360 and not the WP-365?

submitted by pjd321 - 8 years ago
  • A: Yes, there is a WP365. I HAVE ONE.

submitted byanian - 8 years ago
  • A: I have a WP360. I am not sure if they make 365

submitted byanian - 8 years ago

Q: I dropped the device and the blue tip broke off. Can't get the piece out that holds it to replace it. Any directions you can give me?

submitted by Jan - 8 years ago
  • A: I have not dropped mine yet, but I agree with the needle-nose piles is the best thing to use. I love my Cordless Waterpik, and use mine the shower because you don't have to spray all over, lol, it happened to me once.

submitted byhappySharon - 8 years ago
  • A: I did the same thing last night. I used a needle-nose pliers to get the tip out. But you also have to press in on the little ridged arrow just above the on-off button to release the tip.

submitted byLong Time User - 8 years ago

Q: The water capacity is stated at 30.000 cubic-ft. Does this unit come with a separate tank at just over 3.1 feet in height, width, and depth, weighing in at 224 pounds to contain all of that water?

submitted by didthemath - 8 years ago
  • A: That must be a mistake. There is no separate tank for this cordless Waterpik. I've used this type waterpik for 5 years or so. They do wear out ever couple years.

submitted byLong Time User - 8 years ago
  • A: No. What you see is what you get. The attached water tank holds enough water for one use.

submitted byJesNvancouver - 8 years ago

Q: Does the box come sealed in plastic so you can tell it wasn’t used? Or is the box just taped shut

submitted by Screen name - 13 days ago
  • A: Hello Screen name- It is normal for the box to be taped shut; however, packaging may vary. If you have any concerns, please contact us directly at 1-800-525-2774 or smreviews@waterpik.com for assistance.

    Did not last long

Had it for only 6 months and it stopped working, tried charging it and nothing, finally opened the inside and the motor was rusty and corroded, definitely not water proof, and I can’t return because I threw away the box, waste of money.

This would be a great product and effective, but the lid to keep the water on will not shut tightly and water just pours on you while you're trying use it.

Hello Burns- We're truly sorry that our water flosser didn't meet your expectations. Our cordless models are designed for smaller bathrooms and travel. If you find the unit bulky and the reservoir too small, you might find a countertop model to be a better fit Here is a link to our website if you'd like to check them out: https://www.waterpik.com/products/dental-water-flosser/counter-top/

Inferior product. Won't hold a charge and can't get motor off of the reservoir.

Absolutely terrible. Dentist recomnmended I get one. Charged the 24hours after purchase. VERY difficult to attach body to reservoir. Worked for about 3 days then stopped. Charged again and it stopped again. Couldn't return because I threw away the box. I ordered the larger Aquarius model which sits on the counter plugged in.

    Not Real Happy

water container is too small to hold enough water to finish a full flush of all teeth
1 reply from Waterpik Product Support team - 28 days ago
Hello- We're sorry to learn you're not happy with the WP-360 model. This model is designed to be small as it is intended for those who travel and/or have little counter space. Some users may find it necessary to fill the reservoir more than once. If you prefer not to, a counter top model would be a better fit. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee and would be happy to help you find a better option. Feel free to email us at smreviews@waterpik.com or call (800) 525-2774, and we'll assist you!

    First Water Flosser

This is the first water flosser I've used so I'm newbie. I gave 4 star because I don't care for the bulkiness of the handle. I'm also trying to get use to the on and off control, a little difficult for me when turning off before taking out of my mouth. I do love how clean it makes my teeth and gums feel after flossing. I also have been using dental floss to see how much it is cleaning between my teeth and it definitely does a great job. Like I said, I'm new to the water flossing always used dental floss (until the terrible change in dental floss now) so I saw the waterpik on sale and thought I'd try it out. So far I like it and will continue to use it till the battery wears out. That is a negative, cannot replace battery. Also, when first charging it takes 24 hours to charge and that is quite a long time.
