My dentist suggested to look into getting a waterpik since I am not fond of flossing and my checkups showed that. A lot of food stayed between my teeth and under my gums even after brushing causing infection and bleeding. The first time I used my waterpik, I was amazed at the amount of food particles it flushed out and I did it after I brushed! I now pik first then brush and rinse with Listerine. No bleeding noted!!
It is the right size and power for my daily needs and the price was affordable. I wish I would have known there is no indicator light for charging. There is no way to know if you have the power cord connected securely. It is a very tight fit and, having arthritis, a bit hard to insert all the way without knowing how far to push.
Makes a mess and size is very awkward to use. I don't reccomend using this unless you are in the shower.

We are sorry that you are having this difficulty using the product. It sounds like our how-to video may be of some help. It explains how to use the product without making a mess. https://youtu.be/iyUkmbyq2Ks We do not recommend using this model in the shower.
So far so good. Used it once so far. I used the white tip first as it is less pressure and I could feel it work. Then I tried to blue tip and it got out a hidden tiny trapped piece of lettuce from lunch. Flossing the old fashioned way had probably missed it entirely. We'll see how this unit holds up as far as it working properly as time goes by. So far I'm pleased with my purchase. And I saw an instant improvement around the lower gum line.
