I splurged for this pump for my second time breastfeeding/pumping because I have a 2 year old to chase after. It is very convenient to be able to run around, bend over, and play with him while pumping. I had to troubleshoot at the beginning to get in a good routine, but it’s working out pretty well now. I think that this pump is pretty expensive; not just the pump itself, but all of the other little things you need to make it work as well.

This pump is fantastic. Took about 3 tries until I got comfortable but this allows me to have freedom to get things done around the house and engage with an almost 4 year old toddler boy. I at better than being stationary in the bathroom hooked up to an outlet!

I’m a STM combo feeding w/BF and pumping. So far it’s been a great experience with using the flanges and bags but I’ve been getting issues with the milk containers . It stops sealing a couple minutes into the session.

I appreciate the convenience of these pumps, I use them with the containers and love that I’m not wasting one use bags. Overall it’s a great pump, empties me really well, and having the ap to go with it is great. Things that could be better is they aren’t very low profile and I’m a busty person already so they aren’t as subtle as maybe for a smaller person. There are times when there maybe a malfunction or user error with the container and the pump counts inaccurately, I wish there were a way we could edit sessions in the ap when that happens to be correct. The flip to finish is only ok. For the price of the pump, parts and upkeep this is a pricey pump, worth the money for me due to the convenience.

This is bar none the worst hands free pump on the market!! Stay away!! I bought it directly from the Willow site, but they take down most negative reviews or don't allow people to post (I posted a negative review of the bags on their website and they deactivated my link to review the pump). My work actually reimbursed this pump fully, so I effectively got it for free- and it's not even worth that. I'll waste 25 minutes pumping with the Willow, loose milk when doing their stupid flip to fill, and get less than 25% of the output of a regular pump session. I'm literally typing this after pumping with the Willow and only getting 1.1oz combined, and then pumping with my Spectra S2 and getting 3 more oz immediately after. Such a waste. I've tried it off and on for 3 months and every pumping session is awful.

Very Happy with Willow 3.0

I’m a few weeks into pumping and so far I am loving the Willow 3.0. A lactation consultant at the hospital had me panicking that a wearable pump wasn’t a good choice, but it truly has been great- I love the portability and my output has been plenty sufficient. One comment, not really negative or positive- I was under the impression that since these are shaped like a breast and are wearable, that they would go around the boob and be somewhat discreet, but that is not the case- hope that info helps to manage expectations. Overall though, I am loving this pump!

this is the biggest waste of hard earned money I've ever spent. after 15 minutes of pumping on both breasts and completing the "flip to finish" cycle, this is how much milk it pulled. I typically pull 2+ ounces in 15 minutes. this is unacceptable. as you can see after the fip to finish the milk is still in the flange. not the bags it's supposed to go into. this isn't the first time either, I thought it was user error the first time so I followed the videos and the quick start guide with pictures each subsequent time I've tried to pump and this is the same problem I'm getting. and the app has the audacity to say that it's pulled nearly a FULL OUNCE! see the picture, that's what they're calling .7 ounces?! .7 milliliters more like. Where does/did my milk go?! what's the point of spending six HUNDRED dollars for a pump you can't try and can't rerun after realizing it's trash. I'm devastated. I could have spent that money on the pump my friend recommended and had $300 left over for diapers and wipes. this machine is an absolute robery to moms everywhere.

Used these pumps a whopping 10 times before one of them died. Tried charging it and resetting it, but it won't power on at all. Super frustrating considering how expensive these pumps are.

The reusable milk containers are great... bit of a learning curve at first (I had a few "flip to finish" mishaps), but now that I've got it figured out I love them. I store my milk in a psuedo Ceres chiller situation so using the disposable bags just didn't make sense. The pumps are excellent in general for work, as I can pump, get everything processed and put away in 15 mins or less.

This pump does the job but it’s definitely nothing special and should not cost as much as it does. If you’re not VERY careful it will leak easily when emptying the milk or removing bag. The pumps are also so heavy your bra needs to be crazy tight to actually hold it in place and maintain a good suction. The one thing I love is I can be hands free to make dinner, drink my coffee, etc. but I can’t hold my baby when I’m using them because they’re so big and in the way. Would definitely be returning it if that was possible.

Amazing pump, assembly can be a pain sometimes

This pump is amazing! I would recommend getting a pumping spray for lubrication because this pump is more like a hospital grade wall pump than a regular portable pump. It always empties me out nicely and being able to control it from my phone is a GAME CHANGER. Along with being able to see the approximate amount of milk you pumped while you’re pumping is awesome! Assembly can be quite a pain sometimes, and I don’t recommend getting the bags because they can be a pain. This pump has completely changed my pumping/breastfeeding journey. In the 2 weeks since I got this pump I’ve got an entire brick in the freezer! I’ve never had more than a few bags of milk at a time saved in the freezer.

I read and read reviews for months before ordering and it was totally worth it! As a working mother I pump at work and I’m empty by 10-15 minutes and I can get an extra let down around 20 minutes! I enjoy having these handless, cordless, pumps as I am a nurse and on the move! They an amazing job. Once you get the hang of them, it’s smooth sailing. It trail and error for about a week of fully using them. Make sure you size yourself for flanges! Number one key for pumps 😊

All said and done, it is so great to be able to pump and move around the house and do whatever I need to instead of being tied to a wall. Definitely had a learning curve and some initial technical difficulties, and the pumps aren’t as leakproof as I thought they were, but ultimately it is still a significantly better alternative than the OG plug into the wall with the flanges and the bottles.

Not super practical, but being wire free is nice

I like being wire free, but they are bigger and heavier than I expected. It makes it hard to do more than walk around. Also , the containers seemed like a nice reprieve from buying bags until one started making the pump constantly gulp air. I’ve deep cleaned and made sure thee were no tears in the flange and it still does it. So it’s back to bags. Also, I’ve only been using it for a month. If the bags weren’t so expensive, I would probably give this 5 stars because I do like the pump itself. I’m happy with output and ease of pumping.

I am an exclusive pumper and have been using the Willow 3.0 wearable pump 3x a day for the last 4 months as my day-time pump. As a working mom, I invested in the 3.0 so I could have a light weight pump, leak proof bags, and work at my computer while pumping. Even at home, I can multitask in a way that the traditional pump could never accommodate. I love this pump and would recommend it to anyone on the fence about purchasing it. I would give it 5 stars but I do not feel I can do so in good conscience since the learning curve is extremely steep and I truly had to work very hard to fall in love with the Willow 3.0. First was sizing, when the flange was too big it hurt to pump but my supply was good, then when the flange was the right size my supply dipped. To adjust, I would first use the Willow then my regular pump for a few weeks. Next, the containers are very hard to clean so milk residue messes with the sensors and mis-reads volumes. I finally figured out how to best clean the valves with a qtip. The flip to finish process will make you want to pull your hair out but it just takes practice and should be done over a container at first to collect any milk that leaks until you get the hang of it (watch youtube videos). Alignment is tricky since the pumps cover your whole breast. To avoid frustration, I sit for 2-3 minutes to monitor the letdown to ensure the alignment is correct and milk is flowing. I do still use my traditional pump at night because it is less finicky, I don't need to be mobile, and I can pump right into a reusable container that I can cap/store (vs the reusable Willow that you need to pour into another container). Lastly, it's hard to recommend to others when the pump and its parts are so expensive. However, people tend to compare it to the cost of a traditional pump but I would argue you should compare it to formula feeding (which can be in the thousands). I would have probably given up breast feeding much earlier due to the inconvenience to a working mom with a growing boy. I am currently 7.5 months strong and 4.5 months left on my year-long goal which has only been achievable with my Willow 3.0.
