Lid does not close at all.
The cake pan itself was fine, but the lid? Not so much. I was disappointed to learn that the lid does not close at all. It was poorly designed for a trusted brand. I would not recommend this specific cake pan with lid to anyone and would not buy this again. Save your money.

Rusts. Pan is dishwasher safe, but the manufacturer recommends hand washing. I have hand washed it 3 times. The pan has a rolled edge that traps water. Rusty water came out of the rolled edge after a dry of drying. The non-stick surface works well.
