Yogi Tea - Ginger Tea - 16ct

This is the best ginger tea out there in my opinion. Other stores carry it too, but it’s pricey. When Target has it on sale, I stock up! It’s great for when you’re feeling full after a meal, have a bit of a tummy ache, or just want some spicy, delicious tea.

I though it would help with inflammation in the stomach, but expect it gave me more inflammation and stomach issues.

Bought it thinking it would only be ginger. Then when I tasted it could taste the licorice and pepper. Wasn’t what I wanted or expected

I had this tea when I stayed at an Airbnb. The host prepared some simple drinks. I love it so much and I’m glad I found it at Target. I always have sensitive stomach. Sometimes I just need something warm to make my stomach feel better and this is perfect.

Did the recipe change again? A few years ago there was the issue with the lemongrass that changed the flavor for a while and then it went back to normal. The new box I just got has a super floral taste. I can’t tell if it’s ginger or not. Just curious if it’s a random weird box, the lemongrass issue, or a permanent change? Does the current blend have the same amount of ginger? I loooooove the original flavor and so does my tummy.

My tea of choice when I’m feeling a bit sick. With a splash of lemon juice.

Because I'm going through topical steroid withdrawal, I have many sensitivities and often review all the labels. Given that this package appeared to be ONLY GINGER and maybe mint, I purchased and drank a cup. I was pleased with the flavor and then realized I tasted liquorice! Liquorice can mimic steroids in the body so I am to also stay away from it given the possibility of falling back into withdrawal. TSW is very serious. I'm in year 6 of this dreadful disease state and I fear that this product could set me back further. I used to be a consumer packaging designer and know that you are obligated to represent the product accurately on the cover. You have not and now I'm likely to pay the price. You really couldn't call it Ginger Blend or something similar? Or show the additional ingredients in the visual? You had to go full tilt deceptive? This tea is the spicy ginger experience you are looking for. It is fairly priced and I love the little notes on the tea string. The flavor is true to description and truly lovely

I love herbal tea and expected this ginger tea to be soothing for the stomach. Even after adding some ginger syrup to it, all I could taste was the black pepper. It was totally overwhelming and left my throat and mouth burning. Now I love pepper and add it to my vegetables and potatoes all the time, but here it is just awful and unnecessary.

It is not ginger tea. Mix of 5 different ingredients.

Love this ginger tea when I’m feeling under the weather or just need to relax with a good cup of tea. Crisp ginger flavor with a little bit of bite but not too spicy. A great all around tea.

I've been drinking ginger tea for years. This brand, is new to me. The first sip, I immediately tasted strong essence of black pepper like WOW! Way too long steeping, apparently. However, it must have stimulated my digestive system/whole body b/c I felt like the next morning I flushed everything out, lol. The tea also has licorice root, lemon grass and black pepper. It should be clearly marked as such on the front. Either way, I feel it helped me get things moving, reason for 3 stars. Taste, def. a 1. But I don't personally drink tea for taste. Moreso, for the herbal benefits.

This tea is good. It’s my favorite ginger tea but I very much dislike the strings, staples, individual wrappers- it’s a lot of unnecessary waste so I have stopped buying it.

This has been my favorite tea for years but NO MORE. I used to drink it in the morning, to relax, and at night. I loved the gingery, peppery taste. The past three - six months the formula seems "off" and today's pack is so bad I won't drink it. The ginger taste is missing and there is no peppery warmth. Please bring back your taste and standards. Truly disappointing.

I love this tea! I have a very stressful job working for the State of Idaho. My supervisor actually introduced me to many of the Yogi Teas. I drink 54 oz of the Yogi Elderberry Lemon Balm Immune plus Stress tea is my favorite.

It's not undrinkable, but it is bad enough to compel me to write a review about it. I bought this tea because it says "Ginger" on the box with pictures of ginger root next to what appears to be a nice rich cup of ginger tea. The actual tea has next to no ginger flavor. It's minty with the very mild spice seeming to come from black pepper instead. Whatever ginger-adjacent herbal concoction this is, it's boring and takes two bags to get a cup with any flavor besides. This box is a lie.

This tea used to be so warming and spicy. Now it’s overly minty. Please go back to the old recipe!
