Labels are offered in paper-based options (including blends with hemp and recycled paper) and in polyester fabric labels.

No-iron fabric labels are peel-and-stick. Personalize them by handwriting with a permanent marker, then peel off the backing and press the label onto the garment.

Many paper-based labels are optimized for laser and inkjet printers and support print-to-edge designs. Some fabric/no-iron labels, however, are handwrite-only and not compatible with printers.

Fabric no-iron labels are described as durable and waterproof and are designed to withstand multiple machine wash and dryer cycles. Customer feedback reports they remain attached through multiple washes.

Both permanent and removable adhesives are used. Several label types are backed by a permanent adhesive, while some name-tag style labels use removable self-adhesive backing.

Common shapes include ovals, scalloped ovals, square scalloped shapes, standard rectangles, and name-tag style rectangular shapes.

Many paper labels are easy to customize with pens or markers. Fabric/no-iron labels are intended to be handwritten on with a permanent marker.
