Only 30 Per Bottle
I am reordering this BUT the instructions are for 2 capsules/day. You get 30 capsules per bottle. One bottle lasts only 15 days. It's expensive, but to get a month's worth you have to order 2 bottles. Swanson needs to do better on this one.

Berberine Supplement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really hoping that this product would have worked better for me. Overall, I didn't feel any benefits to taking the supplement-and it was really hard to add yet another supplement into my regime. I didn't experience any increased energy or balance of blood sugar. I don't typically eat a lot of sugar to be able to tell if there was anything to report after meals-I didn't feel any different. I will say the pill size was doable and I never got an upset stomach after taking this supplement which is a huge praise to the company! As mentioned above, I didn't enjoy adding another "something" to remember to take morning and evening due to there not being an overall increase of wellness. Overall I think it could be worth a try, but myself personally, didn't feel a benefit to purchase again once finished with the current bottle.

Easy to take, noticed decreased appetite!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I really like this Berberine supplement! I've taken Berberine in the past from different brands, and they were always larger pills and larger suggested doses. This was just one, smaller pill in a smaller dose than I normally take and yet, I feel like while I was taking this, I actually noticed a marked decrease in my appetite/urge to snack between meals, whereas I'm not sure I ever really noticed a difference when taking other brands. I'm not sure I noticed a real difference in energy and I can't say anything about weight loss because I don't use a scale, but I feel good and had zero negative side effects, so that's a win for me! It's easy to take, has no taste, and I'm definitely going to order more!

Trusted brand of supplement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Swanson brand of supplements for years as I feel like they are a trusted brand with a long history. They are not a new or fly by night brand. For their berberine supplement, I did not experience any gastrointestinal side effects or side effects like drastic blood sugar drops that made me irritable as some brands have caused. I did not find this supplement as effective for me as a brand on keeping me on an even keel that I take which has cinnamon in it as well. However, I have an erratic eating schedule with carb heavy snacks at times. I appreciate this formula being liposomal for better absorption. I wish the bottle did disclose where the supplement was made though, not just distributed from.

Solid supplement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a healthy weight but my A1C has been borderline for years and no matter how much I cut carbs/sugars from my diet I have never been able to get below 6.0. I started berberine supplement and 5.7!! I know long term glucose control is what matters for my health so I'm happy to have reached my goal and not be 'diabetic'. I like this brand. too - so many unregulated companies out there so it's good to take one that does testing etc and offers a quality product. Thanks to Stellar for providing this product!

It could be internal results that I may not be able to see such as the cardiovascular system which this supplement does say is supposed to help with. I was hoping that it would help with my energy levels but I did not notice any effect with that.

Small energy boost on low energy days
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have taken berberine supplements in the past to support my pre-diabetic system. In the past it has really hit my digestive system hard, which is why I stopped taking them. I found that these supplements didn't hit nearly as hard and left me feeling pretty normal. During my cycle there are hormonal dips that cause me to have very low energy days and easier sugar crashes due to anemia. I found that this supplement seemed to help give a small energy boost where I normally would be crashing. I also felt like my sugars did not seem to dip as low as usual. I took these every morning right before breakfast to help with my mid morning dip. During the month I have had these I have not noticed any weight loss or feelings of not wanting to eat, but overall I felt like this supplement did what it was supposed to with my sugars and energy, and I would take it again.

An addition to my daily supplement lineup

Easy to use

I am excited to see how this supplement impacts my next lab results but for now I am thrilled that I only need to take one a day. I have tried others where I had to take anywhere from 3 to 6 capsules and that hurt my tummy so this is a huge win. It's easier to add this to my routine. I am pairing this with my GLP-1 for weight management support. So far, I have noticed that my energy levels seem better but time will tell the impact it has on my A1C. It's affordable and 3rd party tested which is important. There are a lot of options out there to choose from but Swanson is a brand I trust that has been around over 50 years.
