Description

DHEA, dehydroepiandrosterone, is the most abundant adrenal steroid hormone in the body. After it is made by the adrenal glands, it travels into cells throughout the body, where it is converted into androgens and estrogens. These hormones regulate fat and mineral metabolism, endocrine and reproductive function, and energy levels. The amount of each hormone to which DHEA converts to depends on an individual's biochemistry, age and sex. DHEA levels peak around age 25 and then decline steadily. DHEA supplementation supports calmness and immune function.

Great Product! I have been taking Pure Encapsulations DHEA for about 3 years and I have regular blood testing 3 to 4 times a year. On two occasions I ran to a local store and purchased a different brand and on both occasions my DHEA levels dropped to more than half the levels that I had been maintaining for years. Needless to say I won't mess around and run out again! I don't write reviews often but I am real believer in this product and this company.
