    While I was surprised at the actual size of these containers as they are smaller than I thought they were, they are indeed actually perfect. I bought 2 sets. Each container holds exactly 5 lbs of flour. I am happy for that. In this day and age, its important to store things in air tight containers to have supplies that last. While someone might think these are expensive, they are HIGH quality air tight containers with the "lock n lock" system and a very good seal in the lids. The flip up pour lid also has a good seal on it. Very happy with my purchase.
