Poor quality
I purchased this blender this past Friday and the motor seized on Saturday. I was blending broth and cooked vegetables to put in a soup I was making. The blender started smoking. It smelled up my entire kitchen. I am returning it tomorrow. Such a disappointment! I should have read the reviews first. Several people reported the same exact issue. If this blender can supposedly crush ice, it shouldn’t burn up just blending soft vegetables and broth!

Not very good

Good for the price

Great all purpose blender!

I mostly use it for smoothies, but it’s also great for chopping, puréeing, or even mixing ingredients together. It’s versatile and comes in handy for so many different purposes! The noise level isn’t bad—definitely not whisper-quiet, but also not overly obnoxious compared to other blenders I’ve used. I also love that it gives you both high and low speed options, which really makes a difference depending on what you’re making. Cleaning is simple and safe, since the blade detaches from the pitcher. I usually rinse it right away and then wash it separately, sometimes in the dishwasher, which makes cleanup easy. Overall, I really love it! 😊

Rubber ORing Tore
After about two weeks the gasket ORing on this got tangled up somehow and part of it was chopped off and ended up in my smoothie the two year warranty doesn't cover the gasket and Black and Decker online parts doesn't even sell it and I can't find it anywhere yet so if I can't find it guess i'll be buying another one but it won't be from this brand

Loud enough
I bought this but I can't believe how loud it is i have a riding mower that's not even this loud. I think I need hearing protection when I use this

Doesn't work after a few uses
I just bought this yesterday to make smoothies for a fundraiser at my church. Started making them early this morning, it had a funny smell, but I kept working. I've made 3 batches and now it won't work. When I took the pitcher off there was smoke coming from the well you sit the pitcher in. I can't believe it!!!! I'm going to let it cool off and try again, because I HAVE TO GET THIS DONE this morning. I will be taking it back. So disappointed.

Doesn't Chop Ice
I bought this brand new. It does not chop ice, the blades spin around and do nothing. This is a piece of garbage.

Not that great at Ice Crushing
Have used it twice to make a simple margarita and it's just not powerful enough to crush the ice I use. Both from trays or a bought bag. Maybe it's good with ice that's already crushed but I would NOT recommend this for margaritas.

Crushes ice (a little loudly)
