Works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new all around knife that could handle anything I needed to get done in the kitchen. I have been using this for several weeks, and so far, the BergHOFF DiNA Gene Stainless Steel Santoku Knife works great. I used this on potatoes and it cut through them like butter. Onions were also a breeze. My tomatoes cut without bending the skin. My real test though, was using this for sweet potatoes which I always find challenging to cut. While this took slightly more effort than a basic potato, it still cut through quite easily, regardless if I had them peeled or not. I definitely would recommend this knife as it cuts better than most of the others I have tried and the best I have used for sweet potatoes. I would not hesitate to purchase more from this brand in the future.

Extremely sharp for the new knife
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this BergHOFF chef’s knife and it feels perfect in my hand, not too heavy and not too light, with a really comfortable grip. But the best part is how insanely sharp it is right out of the box. I don't have to push hard at all anymore, it just slides through tomatoes, onions, and herbs like they're nothing. Total game changer for making prep work easy and fast. I absolutely love using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are big bread fans in my house! I have never owned a Berghoff product before, so I was excited to try the Dina Gene stainless steel bread knife. And this is a great knife! As you can see, the blade is really toothy, and cuts through even the crustiest bread with no problem. It makes a nice even slice without tearing the crust or the soft bread inside. It’s a really balanced knife, and appears to be very well-made. And it definitely has some weight! I’m sure we will be using this a couple of times a week in our household!

Durable and versatile

It's super sharp and makes cutting through all sorts of ingredients, like fruits, vegetables, and meats, feel effortless. The handle is comfortable to hold, even when I'm doing a lot of chopping, and the sturdy build makes me think it will last a long time. The best knife I’ve ever used.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is hands down the best knife that I have ever used. It is designed phenomenally well, is made of high quality materials, is weighted perfectly, and has the perfect edge to cut through a variety of foodstuffs. I eat a plant-based diet so I can’t speak to how well this knife works with seafood, meat, or poultry but I can speak to how it cuts fruits, vegetables, and herbs like a dream. This knife puts all of the other knives in my kitchen to shame and I can’t speak highly enough of this knife. No matter what I have to slice, dice, or chop, this knife makes quick work of whatever task I have at hand in the kitchen. I will definitely be buying more items from this brand in the future because I am blown away with the quality of this knife. 10/10 I cannot recommend this knife highly enough.

Sharp and Smooth 🔪

A good knife can really make food prep so much easier and quicker. Each slide of this knife is smooth and effortless. The handle feels sturdy in your hand. I do a lot of cooking at home so I know a good quality knife when I use one!
