Sun Zero Philip 3/4” Decorative Room Darkening Curtain Rod, 66-120", Matte Black

The install of the curtain rod was easy and straight forward. The "darkening" part of the title made sense and why haven't we thought of that before....that return at each end of the curtain rod was impressive. I am happy with my choice!

It was very easy to install, a few screws, and what a difference a modern looking curtin rod can make on a room. It really is classy and very sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say, I am extremely happy to have my new Sun Zero room darkening curtain rod. I paired it with the window panels and I am so pleased with the way it blocks the sun. My living room used to get so warm but since I put up my curtain rod and panels, it has cooled the room down tremendously. The curtain rod was also very easy to install. The brackets are attached which makes it super easy.

Having a large window in my bedroom makes it very hard to find curtain rods that are long enough and well constructed to fit. After many disappointments I finally just tacked on a sheet over my window, which looked very tacky and embarrassing! I decided to try the Sun Zero Philip 3/4" Decorative Room Darkening Curtain Rod which has definitely done everything I needed! This rod was very easy to assemble and install, it was long enough to fit my large window leaving extra room to extend it out to fully cover the window area, when adding curtains to the rod I was able to wrap around the side of the rod to completely cover the window, making it a lot cooler and giving me that darkness I was looking for. As far as keeping the noise out I still had a problem with hearing my neighbors kids playing. Over the rod is firm and well built, I like the color matte black because it can go with any color curtains. I look forward to buying more of these rods for my other rooms with large windows.

It’s not cheap or flimsy and has a good weight to it. In addition, I was impressed by the packaging. It was well padded and the ends were wrapped for protection hence no scratches or scuff marks! Also liked that the hardware was included!! I’m highly impressed and am considering buying these rods for my other bedrooms.

Sun Zero Philip 3/4" is a sturdy rod that I can hang pocket or grommet curtains from. The center support is one of the best made. It's strong enough to hold the weight of room darkening drapes easily, not flimsy at all. The rod is 3/4" and has black matte balls on the ends that stick out just enough from the wall to make it stand out nicely. This can be hung from the wall or the ceiling, it extends from 36" to a nice 66". Definitely a curtain rod to recommend for strength, value and a classy look.

Your curtain does a better job at keeping the light out when you want it to with this particular rod. Your curtain can wrap around the ends of the rod so that you get complete coverage over your window. I have never seen a rod like this until now, but I like it. It is sturdy and looks really nice as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the Sun Zero Room Darkening Curtain Rod in matte black. How does it help with making a room dark? It allows you to wrap your curtain around the brackets so that light cannot come in from the sides. And if using darkening curtains, it can also help with the reduction of outside noise. I don’t know about you, but any light coming into my bedroom at night will either keep me from sleeping or wake me up. So this curtain rod is a must for me. The black matte gives it a sleek appearance and its easy to use.
