West loop is my favorite water bottle of any brand by far. Love one handed operation with no annoying pop up top. I own many. But WHY oh WHY did you have to change that perfect top!?!?!?! The new lid is hard to pop open to clean and water collects in there only to drip out later when drinking.. Are there really that many people who leave their tea bag hanging in the cup?? The lip you drink from is also steeper so now those few little drops collect in there and drip out. I'm holding on to my old models for dear life!! (Thanks for making the new and old lids non-interchangeable. ☹️)

I have been a Contigo West Loop fan for years. I love the self-closing feature, as the contents stay hot for hours. It's also easy to clean. However, I had one fail, and it stopped keeping my coffee hot. I submitted a claim, and they replaced it free of charge.

I love how THERMALOCK insulation keeps my coffee hot for hours (seriously, it’s still warm by lunchtime) and cold drinks icy well into the day. I don't really find myself needing a self-close mug, instead of just one that I manually close, but I still wouldn't use this one. I found it difficult to grip considering where the button was located to open. It required more grip strength than I wanted to use sip coffee. You needed to use your entire hand, rather than just a thumb which would have seemed more intuitive. Even once opened the button being so close to the top of the mug lead to it being a little difficult to tilt back to actually drink (it always felt my hand was in the way)

I’ve been using Contigo leakproof travel mugs since they first came out. I’m a spiller, so these products are essential. I’m always excited to see how Contigo redesigns their leak proof lids to make cleaning easier. The west loop 3.0 is so different that can’t even figure out how the beverage gets past the closed lid. I have high hopes for this model. Please tell us, Contigo, how does it work???

While it kept my coffee warm, I put a hot cup of coffee in the Contigo travel mug at 7:10am and by 10:00am it was tepid, but not hot. I find it very durable, I would feel like my beverage is protected if it falls due to the material and aluminum interior. There’s also a lock mechanism to prevent accidental spillage for those of us who throw our bottles into a bag. There was absolutely no leakage. It also seemed more compact and easy to hold compared to so,e of my other Contigo tumblers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tumbler. I had held off on getting a contigo brand tumbler before because I hated the idea of having to deal with cleaning the lid. One of the pictures shows the easy clean lid for this model, and it's perfect. That aside.... the temperature retention for this is INCREDIBLE. Over an hour after I made my tea in the morning, it was still steaming hot. It lasted me through my long day on campus, and even when I only had a little tea left it still stayed hot, which is an issue I've had with other travel mugs. It also looks really nice - I love the color and the texture on it. I cannot understate how great this product is, and I highly recommend it, especially if you're like me and want to be able to take your time drinking your hot beverage and have it stay at temp.

I love that it’s leak proof, spill proof, and that I just have to push a button to drink, and the same button has an auto-lock feature. The mug fits my car cup holder really well, and doesn’t bounce around. It also fits under single serve brewers and is easy to clean. This is definitely a winner in my book, and I highly recommed this coffee mug!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am amazed at the quality of this Contigo stainless steel travel mug. I personally use it for keeping my drink cold. I fill it up with ice and water at the start of my day and it keeps my drink cold all day. It has a button to press to open the slot to drink from. It also has a lock to lock the button so it doesn't accidentally open. I haven't noticed any leakage and I use this bottle a lot and it has knocked over a few times (thanks to my cat). The stainless steel is thick enough that I don't notice any condensation on the bottle either. This would work great for keeping hot beverages hot as well. This is a high quality bottle. I highly recommend it.

It keeps my drink cold for a long time (and hopefully hot but I haven’t tried with a hot drink yet) and I like that it has a spot to hang a teabag for next fall and winter when I want a warm drink! The lid popping apart for easy cleaning is amazing and helps with my fear of not getting my travel cups clean enough! I wish more cups were this way! And the sealing lid is also a plus as I can be clumsy, it prevents any unwanted spills! I recommend this- it has everything you need in a travel cup and more!

I will say the button you have to push to drink can be a little tough when you have small hands like myself but it seems to have a great seal and not leak.
