PIN RID Chewable Tablets for Pinworms Pyrantel Pamoate 250 mg – 12ct

This is not a paid or sponsored post. I paid for my bottle of Pin Rid with my own money, and did not receive a free product in exchange for a review. Now onto the review… WOW. It worked overnight. Yesterday, I took the correct dosage for my weight range, drank a lot of water (plus half a tsp of DE), and took a laxative at night to stimulate a bowel movement. This morning I had the bowel movement as expected. I’m not brave enough to “go” in a container to see the creepy critters up close, but I saw plenty of evidence in the towel bowl. PLENTY. A cluster of clear-ish, spaghetti-like worms. While wiping, I also saw tiny pinworms on the paper. I bought the medicine because I started experiencing the TERRIBLE backdoor itching, and I was always bloated. The taste is the taste. There’s nothing I can do about that. It has a medicinal taste, but they tried to mask it with the bubble gum flavor. It kinda reminded me of sour candy. After chewing the tablets, I immediately filled my mouth with water to help me swallow them down. I’m going to take the second dosage in 3 weeks, as directed. I plan on using it twice a year. Great product.

Absolutely disgusting taste. About vomited trying to keep it down. Would not recommend these chewable tablets.

Grossest medicine of my adult life

I deworm my entire family at once with different kinds of medications for different types of worms and parasites. I am glad that there is an over-the-counter option now. I find the pill is a bit big to be chewable. I ended up swallowing it. The taste is not bad but don’t expect a candy flavor either. The important thing is actually taking it to be healthier and feel better.

I like that this medication is prescription strength in an over-the-counter product. My husband likes to be prepared for anything that may come up. He felt like this would be a great medicine to have on hand. It says it is effective for adults, teens and children over 2 years old. I feel better knowing that the active ingredient in this product is FDA approved.

I had to use this for my 6 yr old child after we noticed signs of a pinworm infection — mainly itching at night and discomfort. Within a day the itching stopped completely. We still cleaned everything — bedding, clothes, and toys and washed hands constantly to prevent spread. But as far as the medicine goes, it worked very well

I love how this chewable tastes. There is no weird smell and the bubble gum flavor. I feel better soon after eating this.

This stuff works great! We saw pinworms the first day after we used this. I highly recommend these if you are trying to get rid of parasites.

I am so happy I found this and it is easy to buy without having to mess with paperwork. This is full strength and it is very effective which is awesome. This chewable is easy to take and just one dose is effective. The best part is that this actually works and the issue is gone.
