Libbey Serve It 8 Piece Glass Storage Bowl Set with 6 Cup Containers and Blue Plastic Lids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try these storage containers, but unfortunately I can’t recommend them. From the very first use, I realized they are extremely difficult to open—so much so that even my husband struggled with them. While the lid does create a strong seal, anyone with arthritis or limited hand mobility would likely find them unusable. Initially, I planned to give them 3–4 stars because, despite the lid issues—and the fact that the pull tab on one lid cracked almost immediately—the glass itself seemed sturdy and thick. I even thought they might be a better option than a more well‑known brand. However, today I discovered a nick along the top edge of one of the bowls after it actually cut my finger. With some redesign, especially around the lids, I think Libby could have a great product here, but in their current state, I can’t recommend them.

It's a perfect size for storing leftovers and also works great in the microwave. The lids keep my food safe and fresh, especially my salads. Seals really well, so that sometimes it's hard to open or remove the lid. They are easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. The only problem I had was, one of the lids was chipped. Other than that, this glass container is impressive, sturdy, and reliable.

Upon unboxing, one immediately chipped from simply stacking them gently and then pulling apart to wash before use. Whatever the glass ismade of, it is NOT very durable. The second issue I had was with the lids being very awkard to remove. When you try to lift a corner, it feels like there is no leverage and the material is too rigid to flex easily. I appreciate the chance to try these out. They wash fine in the dishwasher and work for leftovers, but the overall quality just isn't there. I donated them.

The lids fit snuggly and don’t come off easily, keeping the food inside fresh. They are dishwasher safe and can also be used in the freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a glass tupperware bowl with plastic lid. It’s a fairly large size, as referenced by my hand in the attached picture. It has a good seal and feels thick and durable. The reason I gave them 3 stars is because they are very hard to open! You have to really pry and tug to get them open. If you have soup or any type of liquid food left in there, it would spill all over the place. That’s a major inconvenience when trying to open the tupperware container, despite it having a great seal.

These are heavy-weight, and square-ish, making them so much easier to use and store. The lids stay secure until you want to remove them, and they come off easily.
