The best tasting of all Brewers yeast I've tried. Actually like the taste. I sprinkle it in yogurt or on eggs and also mix with juice or cottage cheese. Super nutrient dense. Always great deals. Swanson quality and pricing!

great brewer's yeast

Swanson Brewer's Yeast is my favorite brewer's yeast because it tastes so good. The texture is also good, and it mixes easily with just a little water. It has a good spectrum of vitamins and minerals, especially the B vitamins and selenium, etc. Wonderful by itself, mixed thick like cheese, and great sprinkled on popcorn or added to soups and baked dishes.

The best Vitamin

This is my favorite vitamin from Swanson, all natural nutritional yeast has all B complex and minerals + amino acids it is very good for health. Will keep buying it.

This brewer's yeast is rich in important minerals such as Thiamine, Folate, Niacin, Zinc, Selenium and others, and, Vitamin B6. I prefer Swanson's brewer's yeast over the NOW brand's brewer's yeast, because NOW's flavor is very bitter and unpleasant, while Swanson's isn't bitter at all. That said, I do use Swanson's Brewer's Yeast in conjunction with NOW Nutritional Yeast, because that product doesn't have any bitter flavor and complements brewer's yeast very well.

Responding to a question about the taste of the Brewer's Yeast Powder

Previously, I bought brewers yeast powder at a health food store in bulk, but when they closed, I tried Swansons. I think it's as good or better than the health food store. Brewers yeast in general is not a really tasty thing. I mix it along with lecithin granules with my milk the day before and use it over my cereal. It has been an acquired taste, but the benefits of the B vitamins are worth getting used to it. From what I've read, it's good to add the brewers yeast gradually to your diet, so that your digestive system can get accustomed to it, as in some people it can cause a lot of gas. Suggestion is 1 tsp, 1st day, 2 tsps 2nd, and so on until you get to the serving size you want.

Great deal! Sweet tasting. You can tell they use beets to grow the yeast, not the bitter after-dregs of a beer vat. Can't beat the price either!

Good stuff

I use two teaspoons of the Brewer's Yeast in a glass of orange juice every morning, because I feel the B-complex vitamins provided by the Brewer's Yeast are an important part of my daily regimen. I like the Swanson Brewer's Yeast because it dissolves completely in the juice and does not leave anything around the sides of the glass or on the spoon. Good product, relatively inexpensive; keep up the good work!
