Logitech MX Mechanical Mini for Mac Wireless Keyboard Tactile Quiet 920010553

Very nice mechanical keyboard that connects (Bluetooth) easily to my Mac and works great. A good "feel" when depressing keys if a bit "dampened." The lighting, which is a major feature why I bought this keyboard, is VERY frustrating. When the room is dark, the keys will backlight but never as fast as I really want. The "proximity" detector is virtually worthless IMHO. I got used to the delay before keys light but once they do, they are very noticeable and useful. I've tried all settings and now am used to it (but not happy). The other thing is that the keyboard will occasionally light up in the dark with no activity near it. Note: this is a minor annoyance and I really like and recommend this keyboard.

I liked the form factor but build quality was not good. It felt cheap and the keys were wobbly. When you press them you will feel two strokes. I have mechanical keyboard from other brands for little less and you definitely compare and feel difference. It was not worth keeping that so I returned and continue using other brand.

Great product. I like the flexible feature to follow use from my desktop to my laptop. I use it with the MX Mechanical Mini for the Mac and value using them together. JP

I've had this keyboard coming up on 3 years now. So far so good. It still works just as good as the day I got it. No complaints. I was worried about the keys getting dirty but all you need to do to avoid that is some occasional cleaning over the keys with a wipe. No connectivity issues for MAC and the battery life is amazing. Recommend it as an intro to mechanical keyboards while getting that premium feel. Keys are not "quiet" to me but they aren't incredibly loud and clicky either. I would say it sounds like a normal standard membrane keyboard with high profile key caps.

Nice look and feel. Battery life seems like it will be good. The left side SHIFT key gets stuck which is disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first mechanical keyboard. Before buying I studied everything that mechanical keyboards should have. I loved the idea of personalizing the thing to my taste. I bought this keyboard because of the look (shape, size and font) and that it goes well with the white MX mouse. What I was very dissapointed about is how hard the keys are to press. Every time I press a button I feel like it is scratching or something. As if it is not oiled. I gave my keyboard to a service guy and he said he can't change the switches to nicer ones and the only thing he could do is oil the thing a bit. Well, the spacebar and return don't sound as cheap now. Also, I was dissapointed to find out that the backlight is not under my control. I am not allowed to have it on all the time and it switches off on its own too fast. And I have no options or control over that. Who owns this keyboard? Me or logitech? I paid the full price. And a hefty one for what it is. Another small frustration I have is the top row. This is a Mac specific version. So, why is my top row not like on my MacBook? Where are the next and previous song buttons? You guys don't listen to music when you work? There is a dedicated emoji button though (facepalm).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great keyboard and has a good tactical feel. Major upgrade from the Apple Magic Keyboard. Battery life lasts much longer as it goes to sleep when not being used. Liked it enough to purchase a second keyboard for another MacBook Pro. I also paired it with the iPad and it worked well when traveling to respond to emails on the road.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keyboard feels great, however, the hand proximity sensor activated backlighting only worked for a day. The backlight remains on, even when not in use.

I love how compact it is. Also, best part is the keys, I can feel the bumps for brown switch and it is not that loud. Perfect for office and home.

Perfect size. I'm used to a smaller overall footprint. Love the feel and sound of this mechanical keyboard!

The keys feel great; it looks cool; it takes up much less space than my other keyboard, and it forces me to adjust to not having a number pad. All the other things - connectivity, reliability, etc., are the same as my other Logidevices. I haven't tried to test the battery life - it's usually charging whenever I'm not using it, so i never run into that issue.

I loved the keyboard a whole lot, but I wish there was a TKL version. I'm left-handed and blind, and I'm mistyping a lot because of the way the right side of the keyboard is designed. (like short shift and extra column of keys) I had to settle for the MX Keys even though the mechanical version felt a lot better.

I bought a white one. And from the beginning, some of the keys have lack of lubricant which produces annoying sounds.

This keyboard has many great things: size, switches, and general feel. I wanted to love it. But the backlight turns off after only FIVE seconds when paired with my M2 MacBook Pro. There are many complaints about this on Reddit and forums, and Logitech has confirmed that this feature is not configurable and cannot be disabled. This issue was so distracting that I could not use the keyboard and had to return it.

Amazing wireless mechanical keyboard. The comfort of the switches are fantastic and the build quality is solid.

This is a really solid keyboard. It's gorgeous and feels great on the fingertips. The tactile feeling when typing is lovely. I am very used to the spacing and height of my macbook keyboard so I found the adjustment period for the logitech keyboard too daunting so I will not be using it. It is perfect for someone who needs an external keyboard.
