Sturdy
Filling the base with several bags of sand was painful! How small the holes are! It took my husband and me more than 30 minutes with all sorts of our own inventions using hardboard paper, plastic water bottle, etc. If you have a funnel, it will be much easier. Anyway, after our warm work it is standing nicely. My son enjoys it and it stands still through strong winds.

Finally, we placed sand bags on the base instead of water or the "gel." We live in a colder area and did not want it to rupture. The three sand bags hold it perfectly in place. This is not a pro hoop, but is great for any player. I would buy it again.

Great quality product, buy with confidence
This is a high quality, well made product and in my opinion, well worth the modest purchase price. I am a 39 year old woman and I assembled it myself. I'm pretty strong and handy but it was truly a simple assembly. Per the included instructions, I watched the step-by-step video and got er done. I filled the base with about 150 lbs of dry sand (purchased at local hardware store) and regularly and easily tilt and roll it in and out of my high ceiling garage and up and down my slightly inclined driveway. My son and I love shooting hoops at home! This product exceeds my high expectations.

It took about an hour to assemble, another few minutes to fill the base, and then the kids were happily shooting hoops. I've now got another good outdoor activity to keep them occupied and off the couch. The price was reasonable and shipping was simple. If you want an actual professional system, look elsewhere, but for a basic set up that can be moved around, it works a treat.

I read the instructions first to see if there might be any "gotchas". It's pretty straightforward though I did find a mistake or two on socket size for the nuts. I was able to put it together alone even though a second set of hands would make standing it up a little easier. It took about an hour to assemble, another few minutes to fill the base, and then the kids were happily shooting hoops. I've now got another good outdoor activity to keep them occupied and off the couch. The price was reasonable and shipping was simple. If your a single mom get help putting together
I’m a single mom so if I don’t step up well who is gonna. With that said I attempted to put this together on my own (there was my mistake) standing at 5’1 this was to big for me to handle. I did lay on the ground a few times and really give my life some thought. Took a few hours got some extra pieces but it’s fine it’s fine whatever my son is happy that’s all.

Lot's of fun shooting hoops with this lifetime basketball :basketball: system. Assembly of this thing was a breeze and took about 1 1/2 hours. My only suggestion is to look at the assembly instructions on YouTube and read the assembly instructions that it comes with before getting started. This makes the assembly easier. i filled the base with 4 , five gallon buckets of sand . It took a while to get all of the sand in it. This keeps it sturdy and stable. You can also fill the base with water, but you better add antifreeze to it. The sand has worked out for us. The more you play basketball :basketball:, the better you'll get at it. Children play for hour's and hour's . This is one of the best toys we bought for the price .

Best gift EVER!!
I was very nervous about this purchase mostly about assembly. It did take about an hour and a half for my husband, but that included a few breaks to help with the kids. All the pieces were there and it has worked out great. We did put some rocks on the back of it just for extra stability on windy days. My husband tells me all the time this was the best, most used Christmas gift I’ve ever gotten him. So wife WIN!!

I like this goal. It is for my young kids 5 and 8. It is not for some crazy boys it could be tore up. I didn’t want a super expensive one because I didn’t know if my kids would actually use it. To my surprise they love it and use it all the time. The adjustment up and down can be done

Definitely need 2 people to build it. Word of advice ... set it at the height you want the pole from the beginning rather than waiting to after you’ve completely built it. Sturdy product.

Purchased this item for my kids 9 and 6 and it works great. I find myself also shooting around with them. The build time took my husband about an hour. The only time he needed help from me was to attach the headboard to the pole. It seemed easiest to do this when the hoop laying on the ground, as opposed to it standing. Great deal for a nice hoop for the driveway!

It took about two hours, at a leisurely pace with two teenagers helping - although you could assemble it alone with a fold-out table. Everything fit, nothing was missing and the baked-on finish is tough. The backboard is sturdy, integrates well with its surroundings and the hoop itself is extra well-built. In addition, the height adjustment is easy and secure.
