    Before I bought this item, I read reviews of many other fryers. The reviews of this model were the best, so I bought it. Those reviews were right on - this is the best fryer: it has all the qualities you'd want in a fryer and others you didn't even know existed! So far I've used it three times - once for French Laundry's fried chicken (amazing), once for pommes frites and the last for fish and chips. The results were better than I'd hoped.

    Great fryer.

    I just received my fryer and used it immediately. It works great! The magnetic plug is not the best. They should have used a stronger magnetic. If you move the fryer slightly the plug disconnects. As far as function goes, its wonderful. The basket handle stays cool to touch. Having the coil raised from the bottom stops the grease from burning and turning rancid. I love it.

    Looks small but powerful

    It did not appear to be as large as stated, but it is. Reason is that I had a round fryer and this is oblong. Heats up fast, fries fantastic. I am very pleased with the way it fries, cord is long enough for my use. I would definitely recommend this fryer.

    This is really a great fryer. This is the first time I've purchased such a big fryer and it is way to big for my frying needs though. If you buy something this big, consider how you'll deal with the 3/4 gallon of oil between uses.

    Awesome deep fryer

    There is nothing so far that I do not like about this Breville deep fryer! It is simple to use and clean. The temperature control for specific items to fry is a fantastic bonus! I was concerned about the oil level and basket, as some reviewers mentioned, however, if you fill to the max oil level and properly utilize the basket, deep frying will be a breeze.

    I have only used this three times but it makes the best French Fries EVER! With the double fry mode, it is super easy and you can do large batches without hassle. It is quick to reheat between batches also and that is a big plus. It is very easy to clean up (for a fryer) and still looks brand new. Really well built.

    Out performs my old fryer

    It did a great job frying small batches. This fryer holds more oil, so you can fry larger batches. Stuff that falls below the heat element in the "cool zone" does not burn. So it stays cleaner and the oil lasts longer.

    Great addition to my kitchen. Many pre-programmed settings or, you can go manual. Compact, efficient and provides great results. I’m a professional Chef with many years of experience. I’m accustomed to commercial fryers and large volumes. The end results coming from this fryer are no different. Recovery time between batches is good as well. Perfect for home use!

    Accurate and Easy to Clean Deep Fat Fryer

    The SELLING feature of this deep fat fryer is the oil filtering system. For sure, this is NOT my first deep fat fryer. So...I UPGRADED for the filtering feature that makes the oil easy to clean and prolongs the life of high-quality frying oils. First-time deep fat fryer purchasers need to LOOK NO further.
