I swear by the telescopic in the gold tube, I’ve been using it for years. Unfortunately my store was sold out of the gold tube, so I tried the carbon black instead. The length is great, BUT it is FLAKEY! I look like a raccoon a couple hours after applying. I’ve never had this issue with the golden tube version.

Not as effective
Used to be my holy grail mascara, people would always compliment my lashes and i’d recommend this mascara but for a while it hasn’t been working well then I heard it’s been reformulated please change it back

Applicator wand breaks easily
I have used this product for years and liked it. However, recently I bought it and as soon as I opened it, the wand bent so I had to hold it on the thin shaft to apply it. Very awkward and messy. I bought another tube thinking that was a fluke and I would use the new wand once I finished the other tube. It has also broken after only a shot time. Two tubes of mascara wasted. I wanted to give you a zero rating. Very disappointing. Fix your product!

EXTREMELY difficult to remove
Tough I loved how it looked when it was applied & it looked great...then came the disappointments. First note this is waterproof mascara. I was outside in the wind and I ended up looking like a raccoon. So on that note so much for waterproof in wind conditions??? I don't understand this? My 2nd, is the biggy. It was noted this mascara to be easy to remove from your lashes. This is NOT easy to remove at ALL! Even after the wind made me look l like a raccoon :/ I used eye makeup remover pads and had to scrub & scrub & scrub and it still wood not come off completely. This meant treating my eyelashes harshly & my delicate eye area as well. Not what anyone desires. Then after failing to get off after multiple attempts with the eye make up remover , I washed & rubbed with soap and water causing much harsher removal than anyone should be doing to clean their eye lashes or eye area making pulling and etc. I had to spend so much time & effort trying to remove this mascara it was unbelievable! I can't imagine what shape my eye lashes & eye tissue area would end up if I continued to use daily just trying to remove in such a harsh manner. Very disappointing. I have used Loreal products for Many many years and never had so much trouble removing waterproof mascara before in Loreal or other brands as well. You should not have to aggressively scrub you lashes or eye area ever its not good for them.

Horrible Mascara
I wish I had read the reviews for this before wasting $12 on it! It is the worst mascara I’ve ever used- I may as well not use any! It barely goes on, the wand is so floppy that I doubt it will last very long… And the little bit of mascara I was able to put on my lashes is glued on… I don’t know why it isn’t available for a return- maybe because no one keeps it! Do not buy this!

Literally doest come off doesn’t run doesn’t crack. You will need to use a good melting makeup remover to get it off but my go to mascara. I dive for work and surf a lot this stuff is bulletproof.
