Weird flavor, But works well
It works very well. But OH THE TASTE IS BAD. it's very minty, like mouthwash, and it tastes a bit like black licorice (the day one). The night one is still minty but tastes a bit better. it works very well, if you can tolorate it.

Weird brown crystals at the bottom
At first I was really happy with the price and taste, especially the off-brand DayQuil. However, at the bottom of the daytime liquid there are these crunchy brown crystals. I thought they might be sugar, but they’re bitter and not sweet. It ruins the bottom third of the batch because you’ll either be crunching on the crystals or they scratch your throat as they go down. I bought 3 bottles and all 3 of the daytime liquid flu medicines have this issue.

You don't need the name brand. Generics are the same medication but nearly half price. While these meds don't help speed the recovery process, as viruses need to run their course, but these meds sure do help temporarily make you feel a little better if you have cough, congestion, and sore throat.

I tend to lean towards Target brand products because they usually do the same thing for cheaper and taste a tad better than name brands, I don't know what they did to this product but it tastes so bad. I mean medicine isn't supposed to taste good, but the old formula was easy to take, this is just so gross. I will not be buying again.

Stick to Nyquil
Very disappointed. Some things you just can’t buy generic and that’s this cough medicine. It didn’t help. NyQuil & DayQuil always get me through work when I’m sick.

NOT GOOD
I have been buying Target’s version of this product for years, but this new version is AWFUL. It tastes terrible and the formula is not as effective as the previous version. I guess i need to go back to the brand name. So sad! I wish I could give it zero stars!

Not Gluten Free?
This medicine is no longer labeled gluten free. Why has Target stopped labeling gluten free? Also, the daytime bottle was out of suspension, even after shaking.

Quality has declined
The taste and texture has changed with the new packaging. Both the day and night version seem much thinner and don't pack the same punch as before. I have used the Up and Up version for years and this is a noticeable decline in quality.

Tastes Terrible, Works Great!
I needed to stock up on cough & cold medicine when the household was hit with fevers and a nasty cough, and this was a good deal for both day and night time meds. Both helped immensely with the cough, fevers and body aches. I can be quite sensitive to medication but have zero issues with the daytime version - no jitters, heart rate issues, etc - and found I only needed to take half the dose of the nighttime medication. It still helped me feel better and sleep well without leaving me feeling hungover the next day. The only real issue is the taste but, honestly, I’ve yet to find a liquid cold medicine that actually tastes good.

Day and Night Cold and Flu Multi-symptom Relief Liquid Medicine in a Cherry Flavor by up&up™ is really nice. These liquid medicines work great to help reduce annoying symptoms and help bring me some relief. The bottles have very clear and easy to read labels with clear and easy to follow instructions on how to properly dose and take the medication. It is easy to take and has a fairly decent cherry flavor. I would recommend!
