This is not comparable to Vicks. I have to take the recommended dose and a half to sleep through the night with a really bad cough. It tastes like black licorice, I was expecting similar tastes as Vicks. Overall, I would not buy again. I would recommend this to those who like black licorice and is looking for a weaker Vicks.
