Q: Does the lid have a vent to allow steam to escape?

I prefer this type of lid over glass. Perfect size for us. Only negative is, the non stick surface doesn't hold up real well. I just purchased my third one in 5 yrs. As long as the pricing doesn't keep rising, I will continue to replace it.

Perfect for a family of 2 or up to 4

I bought this so I wouldn't have to use my stove so much in the summer especially. We just made chicken and biscuits to try it out and it worked just fine. And it's a breeze to clean. Love the non-stick bottom also which worked good for browning the chicken. I wish it would have come with a small book of recipes, rather than purchasing their cookbook. We are seniors, married 55 years and this is perfect for a meal and still have leftovers for the next day.
