Q: Some of the other spin mops scratch your floor because there is little mop head, but lots of plastic. How does this compare?

A: Just used it for the first time and it probably scratched the floor seven times. It needs more microfiber in the middle.

With the squirt & mop, I squirt solution on floor then use water in the bucket to spread and rinse the solution off floors. Yes both are equally effective. This mop makes rinsing easier because the mop get wrung better with less water on the floor.

A: Thanks for this question. I have the O Cedar spin mop and bucket. The foot pedal pushing down makes this weird noise (not the seamless push you should have) and I have to pull it up with my toes it won’t come back up on its own. This has done this since I got it! I was just looking to possibly get the rinse clean version. But apparently I might run in to the same problem I really don’t want to Continue wasting money because it’s a huge pain in the butt!

Q: Is there a "Deep Clean" refill mop head that works w/ the "RinseClean" model? Can you really ONLY use water to clean your floors with this? What's in the mophead that removes 99% of bacteria?

O-Cedar microfiber mop heads are made up of millions of tiny synthetic fibers. When used with water all of these tiny fibers loosen and mechanically pick up dirt and bacteria, and carry it away, without the use of harsh chemicals. ❤️

I like the spinning feature - makes the process way faster. The only negatives I may think of is that the bucket is very bulky, it barely fits in our utility sink making it hard to clean. And the bucket is not balanced. When filled with water, it tilts towards one side which makes it not very convenient to carry.

I absolutely hate this mop. It doesn’t stay extended, and while I’m mopping, it suddenly collapses—every single time. It’s such a terrible design, and it’s even caused strain on my back. To make things worse, I’m not able to return it. Very frustrating.

We're sorry to hear that ☹️This should help you out! -Hold the red handle in your right hand - grey in left. -Extend halfway (not fully) turn red handle away from you to lock. -Extend bottom grey part (closest to the base where the treads are) halfway, turn toward you to lock. I love how the bucket separates the clean water from the dirty water - it really does make a big difference in how clean your floors can really get. I also love how the bucket handle has a spot to clip the mop pole into - so you’re never struggling with where to balance/lean the mop while cleaning. Overall, I would highly recommend this mop!

The spinning mechanism makes it easy to wring hands free, the 2 sided method so you only ever put clean water onto your floors is clever, but not great for large areas as you do use the water much quicker (and there's nowhere to actually rinse the mop). The extendable handle is great for storage, I live in a small home, however the pail is quite large.. give and take i suppose. The mop heads are microfiber and easy to change and clean. Overall a decent product, I love the spinning mop, if you constantly think about your mop water maybe this is for you. For me, the excess pcs and water prep is another step I'm not sure I care about.

It cleans so well and the extra tank makes so much sense because now I’m not using dirty water to clean my floors. As a tall woman, the handle being height adjustable makes it easier to use and more comfortable, plus it all comes apart for easy storage. The bucket is pretty big so that does take up more space but it’s not a deal breaker. My favourite part is that the pads are removable and machine washable, and I can replace them when they get too worn without buying a whole new mop.

I feel like it doesn’t squeeze quite enough water out of the mop. I like the mop itself, extendible handle, lightweight, cleans well. I put what I thought was a little bit of cleaner in with my water, it was more effective than I expected. A very small amount is needed. I will use it again a few times to give it a fair chance. It does clean really well, just needs a little less water left in the mop.

like: seperates the clean from dirty, changeable heads, the way it rings out the mop. dislike: two manufacturing flaws....handle is horrible doesnt stay in place dont know what's wrong with it bad design, also, should be a button to release the mop head so dont have to pull off its really hard to try and push through the hole in the top.

I gave this a one star due to 1. The free cleansing packets was not in the box as advertised on the box. 2. The mop would not twist into the position so that I could a little more elbow grease to it. Overall I’m not happy with this purchase but I will not return I don’t feel like going through the motion of boxing it back up and carrying it back into the store I will just tape up the handle and use it till I get tired or purchase a new mop. Smh..

It comes with a dual-chamber bucket that has separate tanks for clean and dirty water, which means you’re using clean water every time you rinse the mop. The mop stick is adjustable and extends quite a bit, resulting in less bending while cleaning. The mop is washable, which makes it reusable and long lasting. Overall, I am very happy with this one.

I love that I can finally keep my dirty water separate from my clean water when mopping - something that never made sense to me whenever I would mop. This is great because it allows you to fill up a compartment with clean water and cleaner and then spin and rinse the mop out into a separate section. I will say there are a couple flaws to the process - the mop itself stays dirty. Even after spinning the water off of it, some dirt remained which contaminated the clean water. It is still way less dirt than reusing the dirty water with the same mop though. Furthermore, it seems to be unnecessarily complicated to have to fill up the clean water and then empty it into a new compartment. I suppose this is so less contamination across water takes place, but regardless, the dirty mop head is going into the clean water. Overall, this mop is a huge improvement to other systems as keeping the water separate makes a huge difference! My floors looked great after using it.

This has been my go to mop for awhile, I switched over from the single bucket system last fall, and was able to bless my sister with this as I now received this second one. I love using this mop system, it’s easy to use, enough water to do my upstairs. The heads are very washable (hang to dry) and I love that dirty and clean water is separated. Even full up this is a comfortable weight to move from room to room.
