It is a very runny consistency and doesn't feel as though it has any kind of physical exfoliant in it however it does claim to have microbeads. I haven't noticed any irritation however I also don't have sensitive skin. The packaging is fine but I feel with such a liquid consistency it would be better in a standing bottle with a smaller hole.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product for that everyday ‘wipe the day away’ face wash. Gentle enough on the skin but still left my face feeling clean and refreshed. No oily residue left which was great as my face tends to break out with new products - no reaction at all to this product! Only downside is I feel I need to double cleanse on those days where I wear heavy makeup / setting spray, to really feel like every bit of product has been washed off at the end of the day. Overall a great all rounder product - I would definitely purchase again!

    The product is amazing

    This Cetaphil is very gentle on the skin. It helps with breakouts. My skins feels fresh with no left over residue. I would recommend this product because of its gentleness.

    Too much fragrance

    I guess assuming cetaphil would be unscented was a mistake. The tiny exfoliation is perfect, but the fragrance is so overpowering I can’t use this. Please cetaphil make an unscented version.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have actually just been travelling for two months in New Zealand where the sun is quite harsh despite the magnificent lands and sadly I had just run out of exfoliator before I had left so hadn't exfoliated for a few weeks by the time I used the Cetaphil Daily Exfoliating Cleanser and I was in prime need for it. I could feel the rough surfaces of my pores and build up of dead skin. I am actually super impressed with the cleanser, it is gentle but does the job and the scent is actually quite nice. I'm very much a person where I like to smell my face wash as it makes me feel extra clean and this has a nice clean almost floral smell to it that makes me feel like it's doing something. The actual foaming is just enough! Enough to feel it's cleaning but not too much to feel like there's heaps of stuff to wash off your face that never comes off and the consistency of the product is great. I will say washing it off it did feel a bit sticky on the face and not too smooth but sticky in almost a good way that it felt moisturised as well and not left dry post clean. My face felt like the pores were now consistent with no abrasions which I love as it also felt gentle. All in all I'm excited to keep using this face wash and do far highly recommend.

    I love Cetaphil products because they are gentle and work great for my sensitive skin, however this product wasn't what I was wanting when I purchased it, honestly. It is called " extra gentle scrub", but I was hoping it would be a little more exfoliating. I guess extra gentle means extra gentle! Ha But it does a good job of removing makeup and doesn't leave skin feeling tight or dried out at all, which is an awesome benefit! So, if your skin is super sensitive to abrasive scrubs, but you still want slight exfoliation, this might be a good product for you :)

    Waaaay Too Much Fragrance

    I would rate this a zero if I could. I use a lot of products from this brand, per recommendation from my dermatologist. This product had so much fragrance that it stung immediately after putting it on my skin. Why in the world does a face scrub need so much fragrance? If you have sensitive skin or are sensitive to fragrance, absolutely do not purchase this.

    Soft scrub smooth glow.
