Material covering animals comes off quick!
Very cute set like most of Melissa and Doug products always great presentation but very poor follow through in the quality. These animals are plastic with a felt like material covering them that peels off the second your baby or toddler puts it in their mouth.

I guess I didn’t read what I was ordering but I expected small animals in a cardboard wrap so when a large box arrived I was confused. The barn shaped shelf is adorable! Not what I thought it would be.
Didn't see the fine fuzz on the animals prior to purchase. I don't like that since it will rub off eventually.

Lots of damage
The string used in tying the animals to the barn box makes makes on the animals causing chipped "skin". The colorful background in the barn is just a paper cardboard piece that my 2yo can rip out because it is tapped with a dot of clear gummy glue. Only pro is the animals are soft to the touch and detailed.

My child (almost 3) put this animal by his mouth & the felt fabric melted off. Horrible quality. They also feel terrible to the touch. We received these as a gift; I would not purchase them.

Why is it for ages 3+?
This says it’s for 3+ but my 18month old daughter loved the barn latch toy so much I got this toy for her 2nd birthday. I don’t understand what makes this toy for children older than 3. She pretends the animals walk and we practice the animal sounds. I recommend this toy. The only downside is the material has a soft fluffy coat to it which has rubbed off the feet completely after 6 months of play but then again it’s a toy! I highly recommend this toy for children 18month and up.

These little animals are adorable and my son love playing with them. Some people complained about them being fuzzy but I liked that about them. It’s meant for 3 and up which at that age your kids shouldn’t be sucking on the animals so the fur is not an issue.

I Am Very Dissappointed
I purchased this Farm Friends set as an addition to the farm and animals that my Granddaughter already has. However this is supposed to have, '10 Collectible Farm Animals,' there are only 9. It came perfectly wrapped with one missing animal, so, I'm not sure how this would have occurred and, then, get out to the consume. I am very disappointed as she will not have this for Christmas! The order date was 12/5, and it arrived on 12/21. This company needs to do better.
