Vornado EV200 Whole Room Evaporative Humidifier: Cool Mist, Quiet Operation, Adjustable Humidity, 1.5L Capacity, ETL Listed

I bought this a little over a year ago. It's made a huge difference for my dry, itchy winter skin. I bought this because it's evaporative, and doesn't put mineral particles into the air. It's working very well!

Easy to fill, and manageable 2-tank system. Great automatic setting with whisper quiet low setting. Not as easy to move as a tower humidifier, but the pros outweigh the cons

No need for two filters now instead of just one. Auto select is poor. Two filters clogs the whole tray and effects drainage from canisters equally....one will drain other doesn't. I even made sure both valves were wide open and draining before I put filters in.

We bought this at the end of December and it leaks. The first time it happened I thought I hadn't put the tank lid on tightly. I make sure I put the lids on tightly now and it has still happened at least 3 more times. Unfortunately this last time I didn't notice it right away and now my wood floors are warped. Hopefully they'll return to normal as they dry out! I give up on this humidifier, it's trash now.

Love this, easy to replace filters, easy to fill tanks, and works on auto to keep our home static free and at the proper humidity.

I bought this product to maintain humidity in my master bedroom. Works perfect and super happy with the purchase.

I find the lids to the water containers being on the bottom a bit cumbersome. I thought I was going to be able to fill them from the top with a pitcher of water. If you look at the picture, it looks like the top should unscrew. Also, it sometimes takes me quite a while to set the caps so that they screw in - they bobble. I should mention that I'm 78. I have eczema and live in California, a rather dry state, so I keep my humidifier running all the time. I hope the humidifier lives up to my old Honeywell. I was going to buy another, but Honeywell seems to have exited the humidifier business.

I have only been using this a week and the wick is already so brown. When I first opened it, one of the tanks looked like a piece had broken off but I couldn’t see anything in the other tank that would’ve been missing and my daughter has been sick and needing a good humidifier so I decided to just set it up anyway. I haven’t noticed ANY difference in the air humidity; the air is still so dry that even I am waking up in the middle of the night coughing. I had read good reviews and expected better than the cheap Vicks humidifier I had been using but now I don’t know what to do. After so many recommendations, I am thoroughly disappointed.

The fan in the unit makes a rattling sound making it really annoying to sleep next to. First one started doing it a few weeks in. Customer service replaced it without issues. Replacement one started doing it right out of the box. Not really sure what to do as clearly there is a design flaw.

This machine is awesome. Very happy with it. The refill process is easy and also like how you can adjust the output !!

This humidifier is perfect for keeping my musical instruments at the proper humidity level for the dry atmosphere in Colorado.

Seems to work fine. The tanks seem to work well. Not sure if the humidity sensor is really working because ours always turned itself off but that is ok because you can just set it to run. But the main issue is the noise. The fan assembly rattles to a degree that it is annoying to be in the same room while it is running.

We have had the EV100 for 2 years for the bedroom. Now we bought the EV200 for the great room. Not sure if one tank empties first or should they empty together. But either way we like that one can set the humidity level and the quiet mode.

This replaces an older more utilitarian Vornado Evaporative Humidifier. This new one has a smaller tank capacity and thus needs to be refilled quite often, but is much easier to refill and switch tanks without making a mess. The unit is a bit noisy on high speed, but is quiet on low speed. (My old humidifier had 3 speeds and I usually left it on medium). With gas heat, the humifier basically works full time to hit a comfortable humidity level in the winter. (I usually use a humidifier from arount October to March or April). But the ability to target desired humidity level would be a great feature for someone with a heat pump who only needed to bump up humidity a little bit.

The unit arrived with an internal crack on one of the reservoirs. It did not leak, but it did not inspire confidence. The lids that must be removed to fill the reservoirs are VERY difficult to twist off. Not good at all for an 80 year old woman with weak hands. After finally getting it together, and turned on, no discernible benefit in the humidity of the room. In short: big waste of money. Target was very good in accepting the return and giving an immediate refund. (Saved the hassle of shipping it back).

Love it! It has made such a difference in my apartment.

This requires filters that were not mentioned anywhere on the web site. I did not want the hassle of cleaning or ordering new filters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried other humidifiers before. This one amazes me with how quiet it is. When it is on the low setting I can't even hear it. It also does a wonderful job of making the air more comfortable and reducing the amount of static electricity in my home without using as much water as some of the others I have tried.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an incredibly intuitive product to set up and was really easy to use. I have been using this in my bedroom as the air is quite dry in the winter time with lots of windows. It is so quiet and with the double cannister, it never runs out at night! It's probably a bit large for my small bedroom, but I leave the door open to the living room, so it helps out there as well! It is a bit large and I wish you could lift it up and move it a bit easier which is why I dinged it one star. :) Overall, I'd recommend this humidifier. I've used 3-4 different humidifiers in the last few years and this one has been the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this humidifier as the seasons we're changing and I was noticing chapped lips when I woke up in the morning. I wanted something not bulky for our bedroom, and stable since we have hardwood floors and I didn't want anything that might spill. This is the perfect size for our bedroom, and I have had great results. I don't run it every night, but I'm sure I will be using it much more as winter approaches.
