Description

ZWILLING Pro is the most user-friendly knife available to market. The unique blade shape and ergonomic bolster are the result of years of experience in knife making, and the rigorous study of how knives are used. A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip Designed in Italy by Matteo Thun and made in Germany by ZWILLING J.A.     Pricey but worth it!

    The blade is very sharp for home use. The handle is really great for my wife's hand, which is small. It also works for me, and my hands are not so small. The weight of the blade is perfect for cutting potatoes as well as leafy vegetables. The balance is also perfect for both of use for hojme use. My wife says this jmaterial is going to last a lifetime. We thought this was a little pricey, but as soon as we first used it, the price was well worth it.

    Tried using it alongside other Zwilling Pro line knives. Despite appearing bulky, it's weight leads to a comfortable cutting experience. I like it for my chopping cutting style.

    Vegetable Cleaver

    While it’s primarily designed for vegetables, this knife is surprisingly versatile. I’ve used it for slicing meats and herbs as well, and it performs exceptionally well across the board. The weight and balance of the knife provide excellent control, making it a joy to use.

    Perfect for the job

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a very heavy cleaver to help chop vegetables. This hits the spot. It is too heavy and thick a blade for work that requires delicate use of a blade, in my view, but it is perfect for something where you want a lot of mass coming down pretty fast. Blade has a slight curve, which I also find useful for getting the blade up and down quickly.
