Seventh Generation Free & Clear Ultra-Concentrated 66-Loads Laundry Detergent – 23.1 fl oz

A: Having used this laundry soap, I can tell you it works great and creates the same amount of suds as a traditional laundry detergent. The only difference is that you use a lot less of this detergent because it's much more concentrated (contains less water in the bottle). Instead of adding water to the concentrate when putting it in the soap dish in your machine, simply put less detergent in. When the small amount you use mixes with the water in the machine, it will create suds and clean clothes that way. Said differently, so you simply need to use less, which is great!

A: Hi there- Our laundry detergents are low-sudsing. That being said, water temperature definitely affects the amount of sudsing in your laundry. When using Seventh Generation laundry products, higher temperatures will result in increased sudsing. When using the Ultra Concentrated detergent, the automated dosing mechanism in the cap will dispense the proper amount of detergent (2 teaspoons) for a small-medium load. There is no need to dilute the formula.

A: Thank you to the Brand Expert who said the proper amount of this ultra concentrated detergent is 2 tsp for a small - medium load! The automated dosing mechanism on the bottle I bought does not work.
