Just received and used twice for bacon. Excellent results with easy clean up. Yes it is too large to use the turntable in my microwave. Simple solution is to turn of turntable when using this item. The large drip tray is great especially if you save bacon fat for use in other cooking. This replaced a Nordic Ware 11 inch round bacon tray after giving many years of also great results that is still functional. This design and size is a step up.

Bacon tray is too big to rotate in the microwave
It is too big to fit in my microwave. I will try Old Granny's suggestion and cut off about 3/4" from the top end corners. But for that problem, I expect to rate it a 5. I previously had around model with no slope for drainage. It had deep narow channel to collect the bacon grease. It was messy to pour out the fat and difficult to clean the channels. Iexpect this one to be much better on both counts. If the choose to make one that fits in an ordinary microwave I suggest the add a cover to contain grease splatter. I happened to purchase two plate covers @ 1.79 to get over the $35 threshold for free shipping . When those arrive, I plan to cut grooves to keep the round covers in place on the rectangular grill. I hadn't expected to use my miter saw on my cookware! The plate covers are sold only with orders of $25 or more. I had thought that one reason was to make it possible to ship these large, light inexpensive items in the same box. But no, that $3.80 order is to arrive today in its separate box. Grandpa Jonathan. I'll try to edit in photos when I get it together. I have had very good experience with a small Nordic ware saucepan that I bought several years ago and a popcorn popper that I got with this order.

Too big to fit in my over the range micro. The corners hit when the lazy susan turns. I'm going to try cutting off 2 corners.
