Nexcare Steri-Strip Skin Closure - 30ct

I purchased this product today. And it sucks it does not stick the price is high how do I get my money back..

They do not stick. You can NOT use them on fingers. I even tried overlapping the strips, they still come off.

Do not stick at all both packets and nope they would peel off and keep in mind it was placed on clean skin with no lotion or any products Was attempting to use after I took off week old bandages from rotator cuff surgery

They aren't perfect, as in they might not stick as well as the photos, but I used a few strips to close a slice at the end of my thumb and they worked well. I did wrap my thumb up though - I wasn't expecting these to work without covering with a bandage of some sort! But under the bandage, they stayed on well and I was able to apply them easily! I could also cut them down to the size that was appropriate for my wound. I was glad they were easy to remove so I didn't risk re-opening my cut when I needed to change them!

Bought this for lil wound between fingers yesterday...TERRIBLE!! 3 m closure? No way...doesnt stick on the driest skin more than 15 min

We use Steri-Strips often and in general think they're terrific. They're best used for narrow cuts. My blind husband walks into walls and splits his forehead open every couple of months. I clean him up with hydrogen peroxide and apply however many 1/4" Steri-Strips are appropriate. They stay on for many days even though he washes his hair every day. I tend to get cuts on my fingers from the dry weather. Although I'd love to use Steri-Strips on them, the Steri-Strips peel off within a day or less because I wash my hands quite often. Sometimes I can get them to stay on longer if I cover them with a BandAid which holds the ends of the Steri-Strip to my finger while the Steri-Strip is actually holding the cut closed. Overall, I highly recommend Steri-Strips for anywhere on the body except fingers.

I recently had surgical incision stitches removed (16) and the dermatologist applied 12 strips (1/4" x 1") after first applying an adhesive solution around edges. I was told they would fall off after 2 weeks. Didn't make it home before most had come loose. I purchased a 30 piece package of 1/4" x 4" strips. I first tried replacing them with 1" pieces, then 2" pieces and now am using the full 4" piece. They continue to come loose. The package retail price tag has a date of 070519. The lot/expiry date on the envelope is 2024-01BC. I will try "Additional closures ....1/2 inch from ....ends and parallel to the wound..." as detailed in step 6./Fig.6 to see if that helps.

Bought this product yesterday. Totally useless. Followed instructions and the stripes stayed on about 1 min. Will never buy again

I had a minor surgery three weeks ago to release my trigger. It required around 3/4 of an inch incision on my palm. The doctor closed the incision with 2 stitches and were removed after two weeks. However, the day after the stitches were removed, the incision separated resulting to a gap. Instead of going back to the doctor, my niece (who's also a physician) recommended Steri-Strip Skin Closure to close the incision without the need for re-stitching. After a week of using it, I saw that the incision is now closed. However, I decided to use the strip for another week to make sure that it won't open again. Now, because of the Steri-Strip, the scar on my palm is not very visible! Thanks!

Love this product, I would highly recommend it. Stays on like you wouldn't believe. Very handy and useful. Buy these!

I bought these last weekend because my husband had an accident with a wood chisel. The chisel slipped and went into his wrist. The EMT (who happens to be my daughters boyfriend) checked it and said Steri Strips will work. I immediately went out and bought Steri Strips they work great. Closed up the wound and kept it clean and draining. My husband said he can feel it holding the wound closed as he works. He didn't need stitches Steri Strips did the job fantastic. After just 6 days the wound looks wonderful and is healing well.

We have used these with all of our kids growing up. The strips are wonderful for cuts from cooking and camping! Sometimes they are hard to find because they are so popular.

Having a very active boy into everything, my son often had accidents. Many times Steri-strips saved him from having to have sutures and requiring another trip to the doctor or hospital. These are wonderful!

EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A FIRST AID KIT STOCKED WITH NEXCARE PRODUCTS IN THEIR CAR AND AT HOME. I AM GLAD I HAVE ONE READY AND AVAILABLE, BECAUSE I HAVE HAD TO USE THESE PRODUCTS IN AN EMERGENCY AND WAS GLAD THE STERI STRIPS COULD CLOSE A WOUND TO PREVENT EXCESSIVE BLEEDING UNTIL THE EMS COULD ARRIVE.
