Its compact and contemporary design makes it easy to transport and stylish to display. 2.65 lb ice cube basket capacity. In just six minutes, you can make ice cubes for parties or to cool your drinks on hot summer days. Important: This ice maker is designed to produce ice, not store it. The unit does not keep ice frozen once it is made. To prevent melting, transfer the ice to your freezer promptly after it is produced. Maintain optimal performance by cleaning your ice maker weekly to prevent scale buildup, particularly in areas with hard water. Please refer to your instruction manual for details

A: For models with selectable ice cube size, there are 2 button labelled "S" and "L". To make firmer/larger/drier ice, use colder water. Tip, let the first couple of batches of ice fall into the water reservoir to chill the water.

A: There is a compressor in the ice maker. Heat is generated during the ice making process. It is normal for the underside of the icemaker to be hot.

August 2024 It takes longer than 6 minutes to make ice; as stated in the description. It takes about 8-10 minutes. Each cycle takes a bit longer than the previous one. Cold water works better. If using room temp. water try dumping the first 2 batches of ice back into the water reservoir as soon as they are ready; to make the water colder. The ice will come out better. The user manual is very helpful and (mostly) accurate. Read it thoroughly before operating device. It states ice takes 8-13 minutes to make. I found it to be closer to 8. Anytime the "add water" or "ice full" light comes on, push power button once to put device into stand-by mode. Make necessary adjustments then (very important) wait 3 minutes before pushing power again to resume operations. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

Great, but...
Beautiful, compact, consistent flow of ice. Love it, BUT, mold easily develops had less than a week, to clean consistently and have to kill mold all the time isn’t worth the ease of the ice machine. If you have no problem cleaning it out every for days then please by all means purchase otherwise sadly the ease of the flow of ice doesn’t compare

Hi DehydratedNYC. Mold and mildew are caused when spores in the ambient air grow inside the ice maker. If you flush the ice maker completely with a mixture of white vinegar and water regularly the growth of mold will be reduced/eliminated. Tip - only use a clean dry ice scoop to remove ice from the ice storage basket to prevent the transfer of bacteria and mold from hands or a dirty ice scoop to the ice maker.

Perfect for summer everything!
This is a great ice maker! It makes 2 sizes of ice. Nice option! It's a fun color. I have been using it for the past few weeks since we purchased it a lot! I even add ice cubes to our dog water bowls. I am enjoying it for all the needed ice replenishment during these hotter summer days.

the ice is wet so if put in the freezer to use later it all gets stuck together. however it is great for immediate use

Hi Peg - try using colder water in the water reservoir. Tip - dump the first couple of batches of ice made into the water reservoir to cool the water - your ice will be larger and firmer.

Do not buy!
I loved this at first. It worked great for about 4 months. Then ice got small. I ran a de-mineralized for ice makers and it was better for a week or so. Then it went back to very small ice. I will not repurchase this brand again.

I ordered Navy Blue. This is not Navy Blue, it is Tiffany Blue-box is labeled blue, but picture on the box and the contents are clearly Tiffany Blue/Mint Green. Not even close to the picture shown. Returning, as this does not match any item.
