This is a perfect example of why European/Asian sunscreens are superior. They give as good or better protection than this without making you look like a ghost. The FDA needs to get its act together and approve modern sunscreens. Still giving it 3 stars though because it does provide good protection.

Was great at first but now I'm not so sure.
I wanna love this sunscreen so bad! The first two days of using it were awesome however, over the past couple days a couple hours after applying I’ll look in the mirror and notice I have white flakes (like rolled up bits) on my eyelids in the corners of my nose and under my chin and neck. I’m not sure if it just doesn’t pair well with my moisturizer. That’s usually what I put down on my skin first, I do allow it time to absorb before adding the sunscreen, but I’m continuing to have the same problem.

oil and white liquid separates every single use. you'll get a huge amount of oil the first time you try to squeeze out. so annoying and might make productive defective??

The one star is because it is not sheer. I have fair skin and it still left a cast. The formula is as thick as most sunscreens so it doesn’t spread or sink it that well. It seems like a fine sunscreen. The smell is strong. I’ll use it up but I wish I had not purchased this.

Holy grail affordable sunscreen
I've been using Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SPF 55 for months and it's the first sunscreen I want to put on every morning. It goes on like a lightweight lotion, sinks in fast, and dries to a true matte "dry-touch" finish — no greasy film, no white cast, no stinging around my eyes. Makeup layers over it beautifully, and it doesn't pill under my moisturizer. Great protection (broad spectrum SPF 55 with Helioplex), oxybenzone-free, and water-resistant for 80 minutes, so it holds up on hot Texas days and quick outdoor runs.

I got this on sale and it's so worth it for the summer! I live in hot Florida, and already know this will be my new fave sunscreen. You can't beat the price and the quality is great. I have tan skin, and this doesn't leave a white cast; AND it blends into your skin so seamlessly. Only downside is it does smell like sunscreen. But it WILL protect your skin when you're out in the sun having fun! Works great under makeup as well. A must-have!!

i used this on my arms and it left a white cast, despite how pale i am. it also never dried down. it didn’t feel super greasy on my skin, but it transferred to my leather bag and got white marks all over it. it also smells terrible

This sunscreen is very effective given it is lightweight and doesn’t leave white marks on my skin. I use it daily during summer time and it has good coverage and protection. It is quickly absorbed and doesn’t leave a greasy or sticky feel to my skin. It has a light scent to it which is not overpowering.

Its texture is lightweight and not heavy at all, which helps me a lot when applying it before my make up .It blends easily and feels comfortable on my skin .The scent is unmistakable and instantly reminds me of summer!!!!! Great for people with sensitive skin
Ive always struggled with finding a good sunscreen to use in my profession but after it I was recommended this by a friend It’s been my go to. I don’t feel like I need to constantly reapply and I just apply once before work and I’m fine for the rest of the day. I have sensitive skin and this one doesn’t leave my skin irritated

Im not too fair skinned, and it still does leave a white cast. If anyone is buying based off finish do not purchase, my white cast was noticeable to others as well even when rubbing it in for a few minutes after.
