Description

Backgammon is a popular, time-honored game and we've perfected a travel version of it. This leatherette set is stylish and convenient. This is a high quality magnetic backgammon set that features a leatherette attached case with a zipper closure and a removable carrying strap. The sturdy and intricate construction of this set is what sets it apart from others. The playing field is a soft velvety fabric with leatherette points sewn onto the surface. The set includes 30 magnetic backgammon chips in two different colors with felt bottoms, 2 felt lined dice cups, 4 dice in two different colors, and 1 doubling cube. The dice cups are made with the same material as the game itself and are felt-lined to keep the dice rolling noise to a minimum. All the games pieces fit nicely within the game case for easy storage when travelling. Chips: .692 in. diameter x .172 in. thick, Dice: .448 in., Doubling Cube: .607 in., Dice Cups: 2.582 in. x 2.345 x 1.3 in.

Great for traveling!!

Fun and stylish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is great! I love taking it out to breweries with friends so we can play and enjoy the afternoon. It's super sleek looking and easy to toss in a bag on the way out. The magnets are strong so we don't have to worry about bumping the board while we play.

Great beginner set

It will be perfect for my kids to play and take on trips. The pieces feel nice to hold. My husband and I have enjoyed playing together using it. I highly recommend this if you need a beginner backgammon set.

Fun with the kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and I enjoyed playing this. It's nice being all tigon a zipper case with light magnets. Luckily I've played before as there were no instructions in the game. That would be a problem for someone who has never played. Even with cell service, being this is a travel game someone might not have service.

Fun game - brings back memories!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive my backgammon game. I haven't played since college - and that was a while ago! The case is extremely nice. So soft. It zips to close and has a long strap for carrying. Top quality. When opening the case you find a great backgammon board with little magnetic pieces and dice. It is so cute. The directions were good enough to remind me how to play since it has been a long time since I've played. It was fun teaching my adult children how to play. It is amazing so many people have never been exposed to this game. It is definitely for older children and adults. The pieces are magnetic and pretty small. I wouldn't let small children play with it. I am leaving for the beach in a few weeks and I will be taking the game with me to play while on vacation. It is perfect for that as well as at home play.

Wonderfully made!

It's a great size for traveling and will easily store away without taking up much space. It's a good size as well and fun to play!
