A: Peppermint oil can cause infants to go into respiratory distress. It’s recommended to not use peppermint on or near children 2 yrs old and under. Hope that helps!

A: Put a bar of Irish spring soap near fan opening. This keeps rodents away from air conditioning fans so might work against birds

Hello Yazz, Thanks for reaching out. I want to reassure you that this product is safe to use around cats, when used as directed. In some situations, peppermint could be harmful to animals at high doses (for example, ingested pure peppermint essential oil). However, our products contain 4% peppermint oil in the ready-to-use formula. cats may not like the smell of the pepper-mint, but after it is applied, it is virtually impossible for them to be exposed to toxic levels. We just recommend to not to spray directly on cats or let them drink the liquid. Over 20 years of records, there have been few serious reactions reported to the Animal Poison Control Center to any peppermint product. The few incidents that did occur were associated with topical sprays, shampoos, or spot-on treatments. None of these incidents involved anything like our 4% mint area repellent sprays. I would not use this product if you have pets, we had this in our garage where our cats stayed and it is believed that they ingested this product which lead to liver failure and death for two of them. It is made with peppermint which, I didn't know at the time, is toxic for cats.

Smell is fine, but it doesn’t work. Or maybe it did help but the SPIDER INVASION (see spiders in pictures) was too great and overcame the spray. Either way, gone for a month and returned to spiderwebs all across my kitchen and living room ceiling, so I’m gonna say this is ineffective. But again, it smells fine so I’ll give it 2 stars.

Just used this product once, so far, on ants. There were so many, I thought I'd need to spray pretty heavy. They were stopped in mid stride. Should probably have used a lighter spray as the floor and 'corpses' were pretty wet. Once the mess dried, it was very easy to clean up, leaving a residual fragrance to deter more arrivals.

I was skeptical when I bought this but it has worked to keep wasps away from my honeysuckle vine and our soffit where they were nesting. Last summer I sprayed it twice in three days on my honeysuckle vine. The wasps had been swarming it. They stopped after lightly spraying all over the vine. The last 2 years the wasps had also been nesting in the soffit by the kitchen window. This spring I decided to spray this all over the soffit before they became active. I saw some come back to check it out but they didn't go inside the soffit again. We haven't had a wasp problem this year.

We get ants in summer, worsened by the fact that we have a toddler who likes to throw food on the floor so I am constantly looking for a deterrent for this. Previously used a different brand peppermint ant spray that worked well so tried this one and it works minimally at best. I spray around where the ants usually come in and they don't seem too bothered by it. Has maybe cut down on their traffic a little but not totally like the other spray. It also leaves a somewhat sticky film on the floor so I have to mop it up eventually. The bottle doesn't last that long either, I'm like 1/3 through it in less than a week. It does smell really nice though if you like peppermint and is suppose to be non-toxic for pets and humans. Ended up purchasing the other brand that I found worked better.
