Best gel polish dupe at home!
I absolutely adore the Matte Miracle Gel top coat for my at home pedicures! This is the only top coat I’ve used that doesn’t chip and lasts until it’s time for a new shade. I love the way the matte coat is subtle and chic! I especially like using a matte top coat because I can feel confident that my toes won’t be the main focal point of my look.

Chrome effect not very noticable
I was very disappointed by how little this top coat actually sparkles. I applied this on top of a pink base color and the chrome effect is barely noticeable. I even applied 2 coats just to see if it would look better but the effect is very subtle.

Which wall do I bang my head on?????
I have the same exact top coat number 101 blah blah the bottle was black and it was AMAZING. I wear it alone and my nails look great, just finished my bottle and needed another noticed oh the bottle is silver now but it’s still 101 shiny top coat okay…NOOO NOT OKAY! It dried to a flat un-shiny crappy finish. I’m so sick of companies doing this, OPI nail envy changed their formula which is why I went to my clear gel top coat..Biolage shampoo, Kiehls lip balm, L’Oréal hydrafresh toner, the list is endless. They all change the formula charge double and la di dah act like nothing happened. Either that or you spend time and money trying things, find a great product and it’s gone a year later. I’m so sick of today’s companies it’s driving me crazyyyyyy. Ok rant over thank you.

Help to smooth out my nail
I bought the super volume builder top coat and just wanted to give it a try, a builder effect or hoping it would be similar to a builder gel effect I get in the salon. It didnt disappoint, it smoothes one of my uneven nail surface out. Dry time is kinda slow though, it probably takes 40 mins to fully dry out.

Excessive drying time
I like sally Hansen. However, they take forever to dry it’s almost as if they don’t even dry at all and end up with fingerprints in them. Application is also annoying because the polish it very thick and goopy making it hard to apply it’s overall just annoying to work with. The color polish on the other hand is perfect and I continue to purchase those.

2-4 THIN layers of step 1. Dry fully (and I mean dry dry) in between each layer. Step 2 2-3 layers and done. It’s my favorite. I love using step 2 over top any nail polish, so if you don’t want to you don’t have to get step one

This looks so sparkly on the shelf and appealing. The smell isn’t too strong like some other top coats and applies really nicely and doesn’t leave a tacky layer. Looks gorgeous on many colours.

I have been getting my nails done at the salon for years. I always had fake nails. When Covid hit I had to take my fake nails off. After wearing them for a long time without taking them off. I had torn my nail bed and weak, wavy nails. I had to do something because I would never wear fake nails again. That's when I found Sally Hansen gel polish and top coat. And I am not good or experienced at buffing my own nails. But Sally made it easy for me! I am a happy Sally Hansen customer! good so far!
so I bought this cause it seemed cool, but I was a little nervous about trying it because of lots of bad reviews. But so far it's good! I put it on, and it didn't ruin my nails or anything, but didn't add anything special either. Only complaint is that it doesn't look very sugarcoated but I'll update after I'm finished with these nails!

Long lasting and durable
I used 1 layer of the Unicorn top coat 106 over 1 layer of Twinkles 785. It creates a a light pinky purple shine. Sometimes I’ll do 2 coats of the step 1. They’re easy to use, very quick drying and last me 10-12 days no problem, and this is day 9 in the pic. I work my hands hard with tools and I wash a lot too. They help protect my natural nails from breaking

I like the glitter and coloring a lot, but it peels pretty easily. My only "gel-like" comparison is the Essie long-wearing glossy top coat, but the Essie does last longer for me. It might be because that one doesn't have glitter, though.

Quick dry. Shiny.
I used this over color street to see if I could get the ends to last a little longer. It dried fast and is super shiny. In the photo, the pink nail has 3 coats of unicorn of top. It's subtle straight on but you can see it better at different angles if you look at the 2nd picture. The other nails have the sally shiny brilliant clear gel top coat. I think these are all great to level up a color or to make a manicure last longer.
