Cleans your teeth really well and the app has always worked for me. However, the oral b design gets really dirty. You’ll see grime and mold build up and it’s very difficult to clean. I think sonicare would be better for this issue.

Honestly I just got this and I like it so far, but I saw in another review something I agree with and it’s that the app is laggy. It was fine the first day with tracking which teeth I brush but now it’s started to glitch, they really need to fix that.

Features are really bugs!
After experiencing issues using the app with the Genius X brush, I decided to try the IO Series 5. It’s worse in every way. The app is still awful. I can be brushing my lower left molars and it will think I’m brushing my top right molars. It’s ridiculous how inaccurate it is. So I deleted the app to focus just on the brush. That’s bad, too. The pressure sensor is wildly inaccurate and highly sensitive. It will say I’m brushing too light so I will slightly increase pressure and then it’s red. Like… what?! And because it has some sort of movement sensor, it’s constantly waking up when I don’t want it to. As such, the battery life is atrocious. I will be returning it. I do intend to buy another Oral B brush but only if I can find one that doesn’t have a movement sensor and has better battery life. I don’t see those details on this site, so maybe I won’t be buying one.

No more guessing
I finally found an electric toothbrush that is not super loud. It does make some noise but I have sensitive hearing and it does not bother me. The app is also easy to download and use, there is no more guessing if I brushed my teeth well enough the app lets me know. This feature is not available in every generation of this toothbrush but it is this one. If you have ever questioned did I brush my teeth well this toothbrush is for you.

Hate it. The head is like a straw with two openings so drool drips down your hand while brushing. I looked it up and it's a common issue. Seems like a crazy design flaw.

TO help prevent this, we recommend closing your mouth around the brush head, or changing the position of the brush in your mouth. If splatter occurs from the holes of the brush head shaft, it's possible the brush head was still wet from your last brushing. Bad design
Horrible vibration, travel case does not secure the toothbrush or the attachment head and they rattle around. My previous Oral-B electric toothbrush had mold issues at the base and on the charger and this one looks like it will have the same issues
