Sheds like no other rug I've ever had
I've had this rug for 9 months and it STILL sheds like no other. There's some sort of fiber that's embedded in the wool and it gets EVERYWHERE. My vacuum gets completely full from it every time I vacuum.I love the color and the pattern but the shedding is too much. I also have a small dog and it hasn't held up well - it has a bunch of pulls on it. Would not recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the design of this rug but when it arrived, the material and durability was terrible. Whatever fiber is embedded throughout the "wool" sheds incessantly, even after multiple vacuums, and gets all over your clothes, socks, feet, etc. Plus the texture was unfortunately perfectly desirable (rough/scratchy) for our cats and they ripped it to shreds in a matter of weeks. Total waste of money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bad: The rug colors are no where near as vivid as in photos and it arrived straight out of the packaging with a few snags. I definitely should have listened to other reviews that said their cats tore this rug up. I had high hopes because my cats are pretty good about not scratching furniture but they have already put so many snags in this rug (just within the week it's been on the ground). I've noticed it just snags really easily in general. It's still almost brand new and already looks pretty trashy. The good: It's pretty soft for being wool and even though the colors are a little dull, I still like it a lot. It was delivered on time and lays nice and flat once rolled out.I'm giving it 3 stars because I just should have known better not to buy a rug made like this with the loops of material. It's still nice and thick, but just doesn't seem durable or pet friendly. I feel like dogs would snag this too, or dragging anything (like a dining chair or coffee table) would catch and pull threads.

Loving this rug!
So happy with this rug purchase. It is comfy on our feet with a good thickness. The colors are muted and go perfectly with our MCM vibe. You will get some shedding at the beginning, just some extra vacuuming to get started. Not a deal breaker.

Not happy.
This is my first rug but we do walk on these things right? I've had it laying out for THREE DAYS and it's already showing wear and tear. It can't stand up to a small dog walking on it for THREE DAYS? That's ridiculous!

It’s definitely not for somebody who has pets as our dog has already beaten it up quite a bit meaning we’re likely going to move the rug someplace with less traffic and visibility.

Beautiful but wont stop shedding
I truly wanted to love this Beautiful rug with perfect colors for our house. But it sheds like nobody’s business. I have a small child and it for under his clothes and into his diaper. I vacuumed multiple times a day and it would be on everything and everyone. Each time I vacuumed the rug my Dyson would be full before I finished the whole rug. Insanity. It was like a micro aggression I didn’t know was happening until I finally returned it after 2 weeks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The colors of the rug and plush texture underfoot are lovely. If I didn't have cats, I'd give it a 5/5 review. But, word of warning to the cat owners out there: they will destroy this rug in a matter of days. I have many rugs that my two cats scratch regularly without showing barely any wear - this is not one of them. Within a week of owning this rug it has hundreds of tiny pulled threads and looks like I've had it for 10+ years. I've also noticed that it holds the shape of the feet of my dining room chairs, permanently. Big dimples that's don't come out. So, I wouldn't recommend this rug for a dining room or for cat owners, but otherwise, 5/5.

Comes apart easily
Unfortunately it just comes apart way too easily. When unwrapping the rug brand new I noticed a couple threads had come untucked and trimmed them with a scissor. Unfortunately, within the week there would be so many I gave up keeping up with them. While the rug is substantially heavy, it just doesn’t stay together.
